What happened to Global Warming?
When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.
Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in
I'd like some global warming back...

As for cattle and sheep being blamed for methane and being main contributors to global warming, I have to wonder if that comes from the vegan global warmists who want to curb meat production through producing fewer/smaller livestock herds. There's no mention of wild animals contributing to methane levels... like herds of zebra, or wildebeest... bears who shit in the woods, and culling them. No, that would make them very unpopular with PETA and conservationists, so they're pushing to reduce livestock numbers through natural attrition... once we've eaten it its gone.
For mine, everyone should have a couple of sheep and/or cows in their back yard... would save on fossil fuels, pollution from manufacturing mowers and, the manure could be used as fertiliser instead of producing all that chemical based crap that pollutes the atmosphere in its creation.

Yesterday, me and my friend talked about the weather and he said that it was warmer that day than it was during midsummer(!). 14C yesterday and 12C during midsummer.
He definetly thinks somethings wrong with the weather/climate. I mean, 14C in December with 3 days left christmas??
The reason for the extreme cold has a lot to do with Antero Reservoir’s location at roughly 9,000 feet in Park County.
Surrounded by high mountains it’s a perfect place for cold, dense air to settle and hang out on a clear, calm night.
It’s a great example of the extreme microclimates found in a place like the Central Rockies.
Extreme microclimate, which I guess means temperatures that aren't shared by the rest of the city.
If global warming was real, con men and other entrepreneurs would be bottling it to sell to Eskimos and Siberians who never see temps above -12c, even in Summer.
Something's always 'wrong with the weather' somewhere. Not really a good way to judge something running on a millennial scale.

The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are becoming scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulate, at Bergen, Norway.
Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone.

Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm.
Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.
Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable.

And how many other times in history have event such as these occurred... without the so-called effects of 'global warming'? I'd hazard a guess at quite a few.... dozen or more. More to the point, they will continue to occur well after the global warming powers have taxed the crap out of us to so-say fight it.
Extinction events should indeed not represent something new and unique, they tend to hit now and then, so that something else can crawl out of a swamp somewhere. No time for another full round though, we have used up the prime time for advanced shenanigans.

The better explanation [than global warming] is that 26 June had an unusual cold snap.
Lets not forget the records that were broken, 4 of them plus another possible tomorrow.
But they're not actually being broken because they've downgraded past temperatures, discounted others entirely, and adjusted the current readings higher to correct for the cooling factor from urban heat island effect.
There is many a now urban temperature station with a 5 degree shift in the data, to account for those pesky cooling factors, like air conditioner vents, and blacktop.
