There are a bunch of choices for custom factions which I personally do not favour. It seems to me that they are dramatically underpowered. I have listed them along with a suggested buff:
- Adepts (add +10% mana to all towns)
- Warriors (add +1 attack to all troops)
- Slave Lord (is OK, but counts as 2 picks, should be 1)
- Betrayers (same, should be 1 pick)
- Civics (add +10% Gildar in all towns)
This would make all picks a little bit more balanced.
i agree they need some spice, especially betrayers - this should be free as there is no real benefit anymore. this used to be my favorite option as i ventured out to find my company of heroes.

Only difference is warriors get 10% attack increase instead of 1. This is because there is no easy way of adding +1 damage to all units that I know of.
There are 2 files, 1 for the traits, 1 for the factions Magnar and Kraxis to give them another trait seeing as they now have 1 more point freed

Doesn't Betrayers give you access to the Broken Loyalties spell? I would have thought that is potentially a strong benefit, as you can convert an AI's city and it can't be defended against (afaik).
Hm I was thinking along the lines of merging the Faction Traits "Warriors" and "Warriorcaste" because on their own they are useless. Together they would be far more useful and not even borderline strong.
