As you probably know, we have released the WindowBlinds 7.90 beta today. Please use this thread only to report any issues that you come across that you'd like to report.
Note: Current beta is only for active Object Desktop subscribers. Info about upgrades for current WindowBlinds (non-Object Desktop) customers will be available at a later date.
I use RBTray to minimize to tray when right click the minimize button but it does not work anymore when WindowBlinds 8 is load.
Thanks.
The latest beta (7.95) is working great for me as it has ironed out most bugs. However, I encountered another small problem specifically with Windows Photo Viewer as most of its buttons are somehow replaced with a blue/pink texture when hovering over it. On Windows 8 64-bit and happens on every skin except default windows. Am I the only one facing this issue?

Weird. Reproduced and passing along to devs.
I don't know how much it is asking, but would it be possible to diffuse (blur) the background for the glassing effect rather than just a sharp clear picture? The title text and text behind the glassed effects are difficult to read sometimes and blurring would solve that.
Coherence with Parallels:
When I'm using that, any theme I use will cause a block around all the windows skinned...I'm assuming to provide buffer space for different themes.
Solutions:
1) a way to reduce this to size to the theme or
2) an optional feature to automatically revert to the default windows theme instead of blinds when parallels it changed to coherence mode.
Both tested versions are 7.91
I was also having issues in avast where the program windows where horribly distorted. I don't have the version that created that, but I will test it with the new version thisafternoon. I don't think I can reproduce on 7.91 so this may not be an issue.
We believe we know what is wrong with this, so hopefully it will be sorted in the next update.
I'm not seeing this problem at all. Win 8 Pro Med. Ctr. Edition.
Thank you sir....
All seems to work fine except for the menus on Outlook 2007 and Office 2007 if minimized or covered by another window. They block out and while running a mouse over them brings back enough button text to to see to exit they must be restarted to get the full menu back.
Do you have a screenshot of this?
Any chance of a screenshot or video?
I'm actually having a problem with the WB UI and not the program itself.
Something tells me that there should be some text on the blue buttons. I was only able to find "apply" by accident.
Also when I started it up the first time there was a dialog with 3 choices. but there was no text to indicate what those choices are. I found out by trial and error that the bottom choice was "activate the product". but even then, there was no text labels on the entry fields where you put in your account mail and password. I have tried the interface with Aero applied just to test.......same.
It should be noted that the same dialog box showed up on deskscapes and sks.
I also have no WBconfig icon in the tray.

It appears your video drivers are not up to the job and the parts of the UI that use newer text rendering technology (DirectWrite) are painting blank.
You should be having the exact same problem in DeskScapes.
Some of our other products have code to check if the drivers are buggy, but it seems this was missing from the WB config app, so the next update will have this so it can detect they are not really painting any text and fall back to the older GDI based text rendering.
Thanks, Neil.
On mine, WB 8 beta, there are no names for the skins. They only show up when you mouse over them.
Thanks! I was wondering the same thing myself.
Incompatibility issues with AIMP player (latest version) in which errors pop up whenever something is clicked in the options menu (e.g preferences). Excluded it from skinning and everything is fine.

Bug
With some applications, Windowblinds may cause the responsive areas associated with one or more buttons to be misaligned. Example: the bottom right corner of the pause/play button on the VLC media player will become unresponsive if the Stardock Win8 skin or Adni18's 7 Plus skin is applied. The entire surface of the button becomes unresponsive if Win8 Metro is used. Interestingly, no such problems occur if I use the old XP Cobalt skin.
Exempting the application from being skinned resolves the problem. The button can also be made fully responsive by minimising then maximising the application.
I had a similar problem with one of the Photoshop 6 menus, but cannot now reproduce it.
When i updated WB 7.9 WB 7.95 this is what I get. When I open windows everything inside said window is Black. Please See Screenshot.

A Second Problem I have been seeing is a close box randomly placed on my screen. If i close WB i can close this box (i can never see what the error actually was) and then reload but i cannot close it with WB active and it happens every time i start my computer with WB active.

Media buttons are not skinned properly to the taskbar. The buttons are weirdly misaligned. Happens on VLC media player and Windows Media Player.
On WB 7.95 , Win 8 64 -bit

new problem ... was not with 7.90 or 7.91.
Have icons in the task bar for launching Windows games (FreeCell, Majong, Solitair). With previous versions, when I clicked the shortcut, the game launched in a window on the desktop. With 7.91, it still launches but in a very small window. When I click the window, it then resizes to the same default size as with previous WB versions. I unloaded WB, tried the same actions, and the games open properly as they did before with the previous WB versions.
