AI
Removed the Expansive AI trait from Procipinee and Karavox. Building that many pioneers isn't a good move with the new pop costs.
UI
Adjusted specular levels on skin, hair and clothes
All I can say is that I have not been able to play without crashing. NOT ANYMORE! This patch resolved my issues! I have a game going now with 27 other AIs!

Holy Crap! How amazing is your computer?
Minor tweaks I would suggest:
- make monsters (or even better: everyone) ignore scouts so they become useful
- don't show caravans as red (enemy) spots on the mini map, it is disturbing
- add an enchantment that grants a hero "cloud walk" without leveling up air magic
- if an A.I. offers me tribute, I would love to have an option to tell them that I see them as friends and it is not necessary to appease me. That should then count into our relationship as if I had given them the same amount of gildar for tribute.
- a second column for the army/city/quest list would really help

I'm still seeing this issue with 0.90 with the mage tree, or I'm completely overlooking the button to close the menu. To double check I made a character with a (modded) ring that adds massive xp, and he still gets stuck on the levelup screen. The Revenge skill is a warrior skill is it not?
I've just checked on the mage path, the assassins path, the defender path and all are working with a continue button at the bottom where it would usually say pick this skill. (and commander and warrior all working fine) Are you sure you started a new game in .90 sometimes the changes don't show up unless you do, or did you miss a skill somewhere.
Strange. I'll double check that I've started a new game.
Edit: Checked with a new sovereign and he indeed seems to be able to continue. Checked with the old sovereign again and he can't. Only difference seems to be in the starting traits. I'll have to look at which trait is causing it.
Ok I've been able to locate the problem talent: Tactician; when I create a sovereign and give him/her the tactician ability it causes the impossible to close skill tree, because it is the same tactician skill that is also used in the commander tree. I'll also post this in the bug report thread just to be sure.
There's also a balance issue, as Carrodus (who has this) can go commander, and get battle cry and +4 init really quickly.
