Children of Storm
A high fantasy mod pack for Fallen Enchantress: Legendary heroes by Heavenfall, with help from EviliroN and jeffqyzt2. Players are advised to not play with the Rivermod on Huge maps, as the game may have issues with memory then. If you are having issues with world resources, such as iron ore, not appearing in your game - delete the Rivermod folder and start a new game. This only affects a small number of players for unknown reasons.

Only those with a trait that gives them a Spellbook, ie Fire1, Water1, Death1 and so on. Henchmen spelltraits also count as Spellbooks for that.
You can actually see exactly what traits count as +1 Spellbook or +1 Grey magic if you look at the trait tree of one of your own champions.

Is 1.1c save game compatible from 1.1b?
Off topic: Btw has anyone noticed their new game maps not having metal? I started 2 new games so far and haven't seen any metal mines !
FE:LH uses a save format where the current XML data as you start a game is included. This means you cannot change the XML data while you are playing a game.
This mod is "save game compatible" in the sense that you can install this mod while you are playing an un-modded game, and you will see no difference at all. To see the content of this mod show up you will need to start a new game.

1) My currently 1.1b modded game still acts like its in 1.1b
2) I will need to restart a new game to see the changes from 1.1c?

Hey Heavenfall, love the mod. Might of found some bugs though some may be intentional.
1. I was playing the frost giants and I noticed that they would sometimes stack in the tactical map on top of allied units. As well as completely going through the allied units.

2. This one might be intentional but I noticed that upgrading the frost giant's cape didn't cost anything to bump it to the next stage.
3. Also when upgrading the frost giant units it was significantly cheaper to create leather units and upgrading than creating new units with chain mail/plate already attached. In terms of metal being used.
4. When designing frost giant units there cape was under the boots category instead of the capes.

1. I'm not sure what you mean, units can walk through friendly units now. If they end up on the same square that's a reported bug with the unmodded game.
2. Intended.
3. Not intended! Will fix in next release.
4. Known issue with the mod, not sure why it happens.

hey im geting out of memory errors (witch ctd the game) when saveing while useing this mod ...i got a quad core , 1gig grathics and 4gig ram but im still useing XP....dose this mod have issues with XP?
If it's windows xp 64-bit you should be fine. However you may want to stay away from Huge maps while using this (or any) mod as they are running it pretty close for those already.
Any tips for improveing proformece? i get no lag or crushs but for when saveing
Don't play with the rivermod if you want better performance. Best performance with no mods, of course.

So I have a question regarding the shadow race are you unable to create your own kingdom? Reason I am asking is b/c I had made a new kingdom using the shadows as the race but when I got into play them I noticed that I was unable to build any units due to not having any shadow production.

Found a bug, i'm not sure which part of the mod is doing it but with this installed I can't summon units, I lose the mana but no unit appears, tactical or strategic.
Did you remember to install the /A_LHLIB_UnitStat_BG_vC/ folder? It is in the list of required modules.

Check your whole mod folder - do you have any file named CoreMonsterUnitTypes.xml that is NOT inside \A_LHLIB_UnitStat_BG_vC\CoreReplacements\ ?
