I am not sure where to post this , so if its in the wrong place hopefully a Mod will put it where it needs to be , then let me know where it was put
I have the adin18_Double Weather Calender Gadget version 1 , it keeps forgetting my Zip Code , every or almost every day it has a pop-up that says the Zip Code is not valid , then it has some strange Zip Code , and you have to re-enter your correct Zip Code , its like it forgets what it was or does not save it properly , it does this randomly , sometimes several times in 1 day
Any idea's how i can remedy this ? Thanks Jim

Dear JimDirt I am not sure for which gadget you are talking about, but doesn't matter, try to put the gadget inside a folder and then put the folder on the top level of your Hard disk C. All weather gadgets are creating a "weather.ini" file that it is needed to remember your preferences, don't delete this file.

I did a search for Double Weather Calender Gadget and came up with 0 results
I did a "Search" for any file with your name adni18 and came up with 4 results , and none of them were a "ini" file

Find first the "adni18_Double Weather-Calendar.exe" put it in a folder and then run it. Make your cities choices and close it with right click on it.
You will find now the "weather.ini" in the above folder. Your choices will no be forgoten as long the weather.ini file exist next to .exe file.
...and delete all the contents of: adni18 Double Weather Calender Gadget\Local Setting\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\Gadget Cache folder

Seems to work fine on the C drive. There was an .ini file in the folder it made when I unzipped it. Had my zip code in it.
I looked everywhere and i cant find adni18_Double Weather-Calendar.exe , only the 4 files i mentioned (yes i have Show Hidden Files checked), i also looked in Add and Remove Programs and i dont see anything there either , i am confused now , the only things i can find on my PC pertaining to the program are the 4 files i mentioned , i went to this folder "adni18 Double Weather Calender Gadget\Local Setting\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\Gadget Cache File Folder" , and took the .exe and made a folder in the main C folder and double clicked it , and all it did was come up with the "not a valid zip code" prompt , so i cant even uninstall it to reinstall it

There is no installation for the gadgets, you just run them, therefore there is no need to uninstall anything.
Go to my site re-download the weather gadget and do what I told you above OK?

So far So good !! , Its been 1 whole day with no issues since downloading the fresh one , must have been some glitch/bug in the last install , this one seems to be doing well so far !

Well, crap.
This is happening once in a month or so, when the weather server is "restarting" or have a quick maintenance for their cache, not a big problem
Well everything was fine until i restarted my PC , then it never loaded again (today was the first i had restarted since downloading the fresh one) , so i had to download it again , , anyway this is only happening on my Win XP SP3 PC , my Laptop with Win Vista Home Premium 64 bit works fine with no issue at all ! go figure !!
