One of the things I do not like in the Legendary Heores are the item prices in shops - especially non-magical armor item prices.
A full set of normal chain armor costs like 500g. This is the income of my whole empire for several turns. At the same time a single city can produce a unit of 5 people in such armor in 3 turns with minimal metal cost.
This is completly inlogical (why armor for heroes cost like 50 times the amount the same armor costs for normal trooper) and further weakens already weak heores.
Please, lower the costs of non-magical armor and weapons.

such change will make money just "rush points" there is no use for gold expect shiny things for heroes, actually items for heroes shoud cost much more gold and resources needed to create item for units.
BUT at same times heroes shoud recieve some bonus effect from items, weapons shoud deal more damage and armor provide better defence if used by hero, this will explain why such items cost soo much (all this weapons will be marterwork of exceptional qquility)
I dunno, I'm kind of with the OP on this one. Seems pretty weird that I have to save several season's worth of my economy's whole output to buy a horse, or armor.
Of course, we can't be TOO logical about this - there is game balance to consider. After all, if it was all logic, my sovereign would walk up and say 'Yeah, I'll be taking that horse, and that armor... got any decent weapons? Sure, I'll take those too. What, payment? PAYMENT?!? I AM YOUR SOVEREIGN - YOU SHOULD BE HONORED TO SIMPLY HAVE ME IN YOUR SHOP! Now, wrap up my order before I lose my cool and burn your little shop down around your ears!'
Why not, instead of sovereign/champion items costing gold, have them cost the relevant resources?
Taking that a step further, there are a lot of critter parts in the game already, perfect ingredients for crafting specific magical items.
I would like to see the shop multiplier be moddable by faction. I know that the frogboy has said he would like to see such an implimentation. For example,
I buy a horse from my place for 100 gold, but if I buy if from Magnar it should be 150, while buying one from Tarth is 125 and so forth as an example.
