I had said that I would do a playthrough of v1.3 but then I heard the announcement of LH and decided to wait for the beta.
So for this third FE LP I am discovering Legendary Heroes on a huge map against all 8 standard factions on expert difficulty.

I haven't seen that many Clay Pits on a map since my first FE 1.0 game.
Hmm, I'm not sure, if it was a good idea to build the Workshop first in your second city. It only provides 3 more production and that is still subject to unrest. Building the Bell Tower first would have probably provided a bigger boost to production by reducing the unrest from 29% to 19%. Still, it doesn't really matter, unless you play on ridiculous or insane.
According to Derek, champions still split XP in LH.
Also, the changelog for 0.51 mentions, that the cost for Pioneers will be changed to gold again.
I definitely didn't see the need for that level of micro so far, especially on big maps. But it's probably still a good habit to take.

You're welcome. Just take note, that the changelog no longer mentions the change to the Pioneer-cost. The devs must have listened to the concerns of the players in that thread.
Regarding the new episode, you forgot to cast an enchantment on your new city. The 3/3/3 spot would have been a better place to settle, in my opinion, although a lot more dangerous due to the dragon. Too bad, that it is no longer available.
Definitely interesting to see how things will develop, now that first contact has been established.

Nice work with the Great Wolf and the Ice Elementals.
The Crag Spawns, that attacked your scout, were from a Wildland. Stealth only seems to protect against regular monsters, but not against Wildland Denizens. Still, I'm not even certain if the Stealth unit-trait actually does anything. Unlike the faction-trait, the unit-trait didn't seem to have any modifier attached to it when I checked the XML-files. At least in FE. Don't know how it is in LH.
Also, the Wildland between the Fell Dragon and the Tarth Outpost looks like the Pits of Namtur. The Pits don't contain any roaming monsters, so there should be no problem if you build a city close by.
Good to know, there's a nice 3/3/2 spot to settle next to that wildland border. I'll check it out, thanks.
