This will be my version from the Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption Alliance mods for the game Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. The mod will add most of the space units from my other mods and probably more from other era.
This mod will be release to the public by stages, the first stage will add the Empire and Rebel Alliance. Next stages will add the rest.

This was my first question about SOASE at this forum. I have saved it because perhaps you found it interesting.
Hi, I was trying add a new model to the game following the iron clad documentation about it and when I was picking the texture_proyection1 for the tangent, I received this message from the program.
I´m not very familiarized with the program because I have edited most of models from my mod with 3Dmax 8. At this case, I exported at 3dmax to obj a model with its own uv and I wanted add all the rest of the stuff at softimage.
Is this still the schedule?
I finished the addition from the voices but I want improve some textures and models. Perhaps even I will add some new. But I will upload all the voices in a pack the next week.
Well, you may as well wait until the 1.83 patch is formally released in April I suppose.
Don't worry about the voices, I was just going to check and see what you've done with the mod.
With the mod, I have not made too much lately. I must navigate a bit among the new files and remember how edit a model at softimage.

I have improved this model with the last textures from Nawrocki and the last model, it has some changes at comparation with the previous model from Evillejedi, both are from him but I have made some changes. The position from turrets, the lights and more.
Next I will edit the other ISD, all them has changes and improves.
About the voices, all the unit voices are edited. Just I have not changed some voices from build and research, they are good.

Not really, its just been a while since I've tried your mod. I thought the new version would be an ideal time to look at it again.
Do not worry. I discovered how only softimage 2010 could create the xsi files for the game. It was the unique problem. In other point, I made more than I have showed, as always I show things slowly.
However I was searching in the new code with the ruin planet ability but I did not try it with the Death Star, I do not want make more code changes than the neccesary.
But clearly I must fix somethings, specially textures from models. There will be many of this in the next version.
For end, I have been thinking two things, the first would be complete the mod with the Legacy units but it will be a work most for the end of the year. The second would be a mod from other universe, one time tried at SOASE, never finished. Perhaps it can be a work for the summer or for the next months where I can add one model per week. There are not more of three factions and the amount of units is similar to the original SOASE but it is very known by the people and very forgotten. I do not go to say what universe is because I do not want make promises but if you use your imagination, you will discover it easily.
At the end, I do not go to leave SOASE but I prefer edit it slowly. I enjoy it more.
A new small unit joins the mod. It will be a escort unit from the ISD MKIII.
Probably it will be the last new unit from the Empire but it will not be the last upgrade from this faction. The Imperial Attack Carrier and the Allegiance Destroyer will see their hulls upgraded.
More news, some good and some very bad. First I have updated the Allegiance Destroyer.
Second the bad news. The 1.83 ver has a very bad bug where many sounds are not reproduced. Without them, the game is bad, very bad. By this reason, probably, I will put the 1.83v in my vault waiting a fix and I will make a new version for the 1.82v.
I sorry for the people with the 1.83v GOG but I know how the problem is in this version. I do not know if it is a matter only from mods or not. But I do not go to release a mod which thanks to the GOG version has a very big problem.
At the end. I will put the update for the 1.83 in the freezer and I will release all the new stuff for the 1.82.
More news. The Tector Star Destroyer update. I looks how I will continue developing the new version for the 1.83v. The problem with the sound is part only from the dev.exe from Steam and the GOG version. The normal exe from Steam has not this problem and we hope a fix one day for the GOG version.As always all the textures from the ships are from Nawrocki, you could find them in the FOC version.Other change are the rebel factions. While I do not add the Legacy era to them, I have converted them in clones from the other factions but without heroes. They are better now for the played by the AI.
More progress. I have replaced the model from the Imperial Attack Carrier. Now it is perfect at 100%. There are other small improves in textures. Watching this video and the videos after it, you will see the improves in the mod. There are somethings as the lights from some units which it needs be improved but each day it looks better.

More news. Following the suggestions from some people, I have changed how some weapons fires. Look and judge.
I am uploading now the last 1.3 version with all the new voices, textures and developed for the last 1.83 ver from the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion.

Before release the new version, I needed upgrade models like the RedEye with my last version from the model. This unit will not be the last, I´m waiting a new texture from Nawrocki for the Imperial Star Cruiser, another model upgraded with more and better detail.
I hope finish the version for the 1.85 this week. I have added the last Imperial Star Cruiser model with the last texture from Nawrocki and just I need check some other models in game, perhaps update some textures and few more.
The next 1.85 ver will come with some improves as the Envoy. The previous version used the Red Eye Heavy Cruiser for it. Now it will use a shuttle, perhaps you need escort it but I find it a lot better. It will be deployed after the research in the Imperial Civil Research Station with a deploy ability. You will be able to build the Red Eye Heavy Cruiser in the Frigates shipyard. Other factions will use similar things.About other things, lately I am working at a new mod for SOASE Rebellion which I will not show you before I have at least two races completed. But I can tell you how it is not a Star Wars mod and it is from another universe where never a mod at this game was finished.
While I continue working at my new SOASE mod, I could found some of time for finish these additions. Now the envoy from all factions will be a shuttle.The next step is improve some textures from the Black Sun and I will release the new version.
Yes, it is not a image from a SW mod but I will not create a new moddb section or I will announce too much around the world before I have some more finished. By the moment I have one race where I have replaced only the space ships. Starbases.......can be or can not be, it depends from if I have enought models. Of course as you can see, I will not tell you what Universe is this but very probably, you recognize it easily.
About the SW mod 1.85 ver, it is finished but.......I want add two things more, the first is a SW galaxy map and the second perhaps a new planet.
Soon I will release the 1.4 ver from my Star Wars mod. I have been improving it for the 1.85. It adds several additions and many improves.
After think about this at my head, at least by the moment and probably never. I will not add the Legacy era factions. By two simple reasons, the first, it is how there are not enough space units from these factions and the second it is how the mod has a lot of different units and it does not need more.
But I wanted replace the Rebel factions by something and I made this small addition, three new factions, the Free Side, Pirates and Imperial Warlords. If you have played by EAW/FOC mods, you will recognize some of themn as the Free Side.
About when release it, it will take a few more of time and I will not give you a date but perhaps before end the summer.
The Hutt Cartel will be another replacement for the Rebel factions. It is similar at some things to the Black Sun and if you have played the FOC Alliance mod, it is very similar to the Hutts faction from this other mod.
In the begining, I wanted release it today but........unfortunately, even if the mod update is finished, I can not make it because I have discovered how it has a unknow bug which it crashs the games most of the times.
With many luck, I will find it soon, if not, it goes to take many more time, because perhaps I must restart all the mod for the last 1.85. At the end, I do not know what is the problem.
