This will be my version from the Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption Alliance mods for the game Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. The mod will add most of the space units from my other mods and probably more from other era.
This mod will be release to the public by stages, the first stage will add the Empire and Rebel Alliance. Next stages will add the rest.

Hi, I was trying add a new model to the game following the iron clad documentation about it and when I was picking the texture_proyection1 for the tangent, I received this message from the program.
I´m not very familiarized with the program because I have edited most of models from my mod with 3Dmax 8. At this case, I exported at 3dmax to obj a model with its own uv and I wanted add all the rest of the stuff at softimage.
There's not a lot, just some minor fixes. A few new strings and random event files may have been added so you may want to look out for that.
Where can I find the files from 1.82? I want make a update from my mod with this and some new textures.
is another patch coming?
I want make a update for the 1.82 and many new textures but it does not go to be today or tomorrow, more late probably and first I need know the changes from the 1.82 and the reference files.

Some news here. I have started to upgrade the textures today, with few lucky, I will release one upgraded version for the 1.82 at Xmas or sooner.
An Alliance under the Christmas tree. now that's something to look forward to.
Some news here without screenshots by the moment. Apparently, I have upgraded the mod to the 1.82, now, just I must test everything some of time.

Perhaps you know this tool named Large Address Aware from use it with other mods. However, yesterday, I tested it with my mod and.........it is awesome! it works, with this you can play a generic game created for 32bits systems (where usually they do not use more of 2gb of ram) with more of 2gb of ram.
This tool works with Windows Xp 32bits and other 32bits systems but it is a mess because you must edit somethings from the startup from the O.S. By this reason, the better O.S for this tool is a 64bits system. I played with it at Windows 7 64bits.
What happened? without the tool, playing the 50 planets map named Systems of War and 3 IA factions, the game crashes very soon and it gives many out ram memory problems and failures loading files. With the Large Address Aware the game runs smoothly and it does not give these problems, it does not crash, in fact I was playing the complete map for more of 4 hours without problems.
I took a few screenshots. The unique problem playing was the mod, I feel how I forgot edit some text and icons. But I will fix it soon. My next step would be fix it and add some new voices.
If you are thinking if I have tested this tool at EAW/FOC, the answer is yes but I´m not sure if it has some effect, it will require a lot more of test.
Probably this week, I will upload a new update from the mod with some fixes and perhaps some new thing.
The Bloodfin, the Turbulent class Star Destroyer commanded at his last fight by the Admiral Pellaeon will be in the next update from the mod.
Before I release it, I will publish a complete log with the improves and fixes.
By the moment I will continue enjoying more the mod thanks to the Large Address Aware http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/ , remember, if you use 64bits, you should play with it the mod. You will note the difference.
Lately I have been fixing some errors but I have been improving the textures with better lights and improving the shiny brightness from the hull in models.
However, I must confess and probably it is not the first time that I say it, the lights at SOASE are not too perfect as they can be at my EAW mod. It takes a lot more of time to make them and more improve them. Next other point, good or bad, it can be how the sources of lights are more at SOASE than at EAW and the shadows are better but very different.
Other bad and good point are the bump maps, at EAW many models uses special bump maps but I can not use them at SOASE because the models look worse with them, however, the normal bump map made by default with the dds tools looks correct.
Soon, I will release the 1.2 version from this mod with some fixes and additions.

Thanks to the GoaFan77 list from changes in 1.83 ver, I will make a small update for the mod.
Well, the improves in code for this version are ready but I want add some new features to the mod. One of the new improves will be the voices, all the heroes and special units will have customized voices, now you can hear to the Emperor or Vader with the executor between others. There will be many other more new voices and new music files.
Well, I continue this small update from the mod. In a first moment, I was thinking replace only the voices from heroes but after I saw how many voices I had, I have started to replace the voices from most of the units. Now I have made most of the Imperials and many from the Rebels. When I finish this voice update, probably I will update some model with the last textures and the last model. Probably, even I will add some new unit. I hope remember how softimage worked.
This is another preview from the v1.83 update. This time about the Rebel units and their voices. Specially heroes but there are changes for most of the units.
If I have not said it. I hope that other people modding the game can use the new voices added. It is a lot of work for only a single mod and it can be useful for many others. I am adding all them in the original ogg format from the game, clearly the best.

Awesome, I know a lot of other mods just use Ogg as well. That will make it easy to reuse them.
