This will be my version from the Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption Alliance mods for the game Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. The mod will add most of the space units from my other mods and probably more from other era.
This mod will be release to the public by stages, the first stage will add the Empire and Rebel Alliance. Next stages will add the rest.

Hi, I was trying add a new model to the game following the iron clad documentation about it and when I was picking the texture_proyection1 for the tangent, I received this message from the program.
I´m not very familiarized with the program because I have edited most of models from my mod with 3Dmax 8. At this case, I exported at 3dmax to obj a model with its own uv and I wanted add all the rest of the stuff at softimage.
I can't believe I only found this thread today(!) but I have to say: awesome meshes, Nomada. You've almost inspired me to dust off 3DS Max again and finish that Death Star mesh I never finished... well almost (PM me if you need a good Clash of Clans clan haha!)
But some post on removing colorization from particle effects has inspired me to restore the SSD's to their blue intensity.

These are my answers to your considerations:
1-I do not go to release first a mod to the 100%. I have been making mods for other games for more 13 years and I do not want be making a mod for years for at the end do not finish it. This time I started before with one faction, the Empire, after I made it, I started the Rebel Alliance and when I completed everything, I made the Black Sun because it would not take me too many time.
2-I use photoshop with textures but I have not made most of them, just I converted them. They were made by a Russian friend named Nawrocki.
3-My mod is different to all the other mods and it remembers a lot to my Forces of Corruption mod Alliance. Check this http://www.moddb.com/mods/foc-alliance-22x But I have not made a lot of changes replacing the research and other features which probably would change the IA, I want a IA which it can be win at normal as the original with a good fight and you can increase the difficulty with the next levels.
4-I can add a lot of stuff because I have a lot of stuff from previous mods in my hands, I have a lot of models, textures for them, sounds, voices, music and more, I have not made more of ten models for this mod, I made or I could add them before for my EAW/FOC mod for more of 7 years.
One interesting thing for you can be how when I release the first version, I have not problems if you or other people start a variant from my mod with my mod, just if he names to it "X" version for the Alliance mod or "X" addon for the Alliance mod. If you or other want use a model or other resource from my mod in other mod, if you give the correct credit, I have not problems. I would upload all them to the avault from myfist0 but it would take me a lot of free time which I have not.
For end, before 5 days ago, I could use for mods more of 8 hours per day, now I have started a new job (real life) and this time will be reduce but I will finish my proyects, I´m sure from this, it is a matter of not too time.

I also prefer to solo Requiem development but give credit to major contributors. It's just easier to keep the mod consistent with my vision (which was balanced multiplayer LAN games with my friends).
But things like new jobs (or new games, women, travel etc.) can really distract you. I've been busy making an Arma 3 campaign (military sandbox shooter) and optimizing the scripting, camera pans and game logic is interesting when you can do it 5 different ways!
Anyway, hope you finish soon.. I love playing any Star Wars mod that is well-balanced.
P.S. If you want to upload models/textures/stuff and Avault is too difficult let me know: I can give you an FTP account on my server (plenty of space) and you can run an FTP upload in the background to make it easy. I'll make the folder publicly to modders on the site. Needless to say, any content I use I always give credit for. PM me if you'd like to do that.
Thanks by the idea about the ftp upload but my problem happens because if I upload a model, it needs a complete readme and other things which they take time. How use the Avault is not a problem. I have uploaded a few models the past months.
About my mods, I make them because I like play them.
Anybody can tell me where can I edit the fleet icons? the small icons showed in the command ship when you make a fleet.
Default is the "Unit_Main" texture (assuming I'm interpreting your question correctly).
Edit: If that isn't what you're looking for then I suggest taking a quick look in the other "Unit_xxxx" textures.

This is correct, but like all textures you can put them in any file you want so long as you reference that file in the brushes file.
Yes I know, in fact, I have a similar file for the units but if you want know a opinion, I have seen how the game gave me memory errors by load many additional tga files.
About other things, I´m finishing the first version from the mod.
Just curious, have you seen any problems with the last version from the game when you make a screenshot with the steam option "key F12"? I have seen run time errors but they happened after I updated the game.
These are two of the new Mandalorian designs from the X3 mod made by Arachno.R. They are used by the Black Sun.
I have been busy with the mod, I have added several new stuff. This is not all but it is a example.
The YB-Wing. A new ugly fighter from the Black Sun.
Black Sun Trade Station. The Trade Station from the Black Sun is a XQ3 station with weapons and fighters.
Repair station. This will be the repair station for all factions. There will be a few stations shared between all factions and the background color from the stations will be the same for all factions.
Pursuer. Another Mandalorian fighter for the Black Sun.
Basilisk. This old Mandalore unit is used by Pirates.
Crusader. The main corvette from the Black Sun. Very powerful against fighters and other units.
These are the Mandalorian Cruisers made by Warb_Null. There are two different and they are the biggest pirate unit.
More new units. First the Gauntlet Fighter, another Mandalorian fighter used by the pirates. Thranta Cruiser, a small and old escort cruiser from the Black Sun. The Leviathan Battleship, one Interdictor from the Black Sun. This unit is a escort unit from other unit builded.
Well I approve of KOTOR units, but I'm pretty sure all the old Sith Battleships would have long since been scrapped by now. Really like all the Mandalorian units as well.
Can be but if you check the comics where you can see these mandalorian units, you will see how they were upgraded with past of time. There is not reason because they could not be upgraded with better systems.
I have updated the mod with the lastest textures from Nawrocki. I will show you these and a few more things the next days.

The design yes. The unit no. You can read about it at least at one book.
I think he might be talking about the Galactic class Star Destroyer/Battlecarrier.
Yes but the half of the information from wookipedia was invented. There is nothing telling us about a bigger size than a corellian strident star defender. This starship was part from the Blue Diver fleet and just the Blue Diver was described as bigger, the Dodonna SD is described with the size from a ISD.
The quotes that are causing the confusion are in the talk page.
In design it was something like the old Imperial-class Star Destroyers, and was just as long, though where the ISDs looked more like narrow, armor-piercing arrowheads, this ship was broader, massing half again what an ISD did.
It was the Galactic Alliance Space Vessel Dodonna, the second capital ship named for the Rebel Alliance-era military leader who had plotted and executed the destruction of the first Death Star, and it was the first completed vessel of its type, the Galactic-class battle carrier- a designation chosen to avoid unpleasant reminders of the old Star Destroyers, of which this new ship was little more than an elaboration and update.
From page 94: "Working on it," his chief sensor operator said. "They have nothing in the size class o Dodonna, but they have Strident-class Star Defenders and a large number of frigates, corvettes, patrol boats, gunships, and heavy transports."
It seems clear the Galactic class is 1600 meters long like the ISD, which is what the article is officially saying. However either there is a typo in that the sensor officer meant to say they have nothing in the size class of the Blue Diver, or the Strident class is actually smaller than 1600 meters, despite the fact the fact the only other ship to use the designation Star Defender is the Viscount, which is basically a Star Dreadnaught. Wookiepedia seems to have simply removed any estimate of the Strident class in response to this quote until another source either confirms it is smaller than a Galactic class or retcons it. The behind the scenes section simply explains the confusion and all the interpretations, it is not saying that is correct.
Regardless, I think the real question is why are you calling it a Galaxy class instead of Galactic class?
Personally the behind the scenes is pure theory from the author of the description, yes it explains other theories but at the end as all the wookipedia, it is full from theory which people can interpret as correct when it is not correct. About the Blue Diver it is descripted at books as bigger than other Mon Calamary cruisers but we do not know the exact size.
