This will be my version from the Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption Alliance mods for the game Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. The mod will add most of the space units from my other mods and probably more from other era.
This mod will be release to the public by stages, the first stage will add the Empire and Rebel Alliance. Next stages will add the rest.

Hi, I was trying add a new model to the game following the iron clad documentation about it and when I was picking the texture_proyection1 for the tangent, I received this message from the program.
I´m not very familiarized with the program because I have edited most of models from my mod with 3Dmax 8. At this case, I exported at 3dmax to obj a model with its own uv and I wanted add all the rest of the stuff at softimage.
Must I accept that 4 is the limit of fighter type by starship? I have reduced the amount of fighters by starship a lot.
Pds: I have changed the title from the thread because at the end it is obvious that I´m making a new mod but by the moment I do not go to add a Moddb new section. It will be when I release the first version with the Empire and Rebel alliance.

Yes, I´m thinking about it, I have many fighters for each side and I will use all the combinations.
I have added the Warlords MC30 frigate model with a new skin from Nawrocki.
About other curious things, I discovered how the resize scale is a bad idea because even with the original models, you can see sometimes run time errors. By example, if you take the Weapon_TechCruiserMissile.mesh and you reduce it to 0,2 with the tool, it gives problems. The best is reduce it manually.
I have added three new Rebel units, the Bothan Assault Cruiser, Republic Star Destroyer and the Ranger Frigate. I will make with it and others three type of special fleets probably.
I have added the Praetor MKII with the last skin from Nawrocki.
Some news here, I have added six Rebel units, the Majestic Frigate, Mediator, Harrier Frigate, Quasar Carrier, Nebula and Defender Star Destroyers. Other new change are the bump maps, at the end I could add the bump maps edited from EAW at SOASE, only saving them as soase bump maps but without normal map changes, it will increase the detail because many of the bump maps where made by Nawrocki specially for these models.
Other addition are the weapons, probably some people will be surprise but I have intentions from to use some of the original weapons/effects from soase with a few changes, by example the beam weapons, at soase they are perfect, the gauss and rail guns are other from my favourites. These are some examples.
The Harrier frigate is the model Warb_Null but with some changes, specially the work at textures for to adapt the light mesh from EAW to SOASE. Because at SOASE I do not know how a transparent texture can be made, I have needed some of work with it and I will need a lot more with other units.

some new models and I have upgraded previous uploads from me with the new textures and specially I fixed the pack with new explosion particles, there was a small error, if you make new explosions, check the path with the explosion textures before you save them because it can be incorrect.

Assertor, Bellator and Secutor add new textures and customized bump maps. The JMPack and RebelPack add customized bump maps. There is a great difference between the bump maps created from the CL texture and these bump maps with a lot more of detail.
The texttures from Assertor, Bellator and Secutor, they add specially more lights and a different detail.
Yes! I was quite disappointed I could never find a Quasar carrier model.
Did you post any screenshots of those, because all I see is the Republic again (though that's a really well done version).
The quasar is a old model from Evillejedi, at least if I do not remember very badly.

I checked it and the Quasar was on the old pack from homeworld warlords made by Evillejedi. But I will upload it to the skydrive sooner or later, at the end, all the models from my mod look different.
About other features, I have intentions from to add the Black Sun side to the mod someday. I have a lot of special stuff from this side and it can be fun. Other two sides will be the CIS and Republic. And.........the sixth side, well I´m not sure but it will not be the old republic if you are thinking it. Of course these are plans for the future, by the moment I wait finish a Rebel/Empire first version.
I have added to the skydrive from SOASE modder the Quasar carrier made by Evillejedi and the Harrier Frigate made by Warb_Null. The Harrier Frigate was made at a first place for EAW where there is transparent textures and it is used by most of the people for the lights (not me most of the times because there is a option similar to soase, even better), by this reason this model needed a additional work for be converted to SOASE with the same appearance from EAW. As always all the models uploaded by me, they add edited or new textures from Nawrocki and they look different to the originals.
More news here, I have added the KDY Endurance, the Defender SD MKII and the Nebula SD MKII. I have added screenshots from the MKI versions from the Defender and Nebula.
I have a small question, is there any way for reduce the size from the unit names? I feel that if it was reduced at size, perhaps it would accept longer names.
These are the last additions, most of them fighters. I added all them 5 days ago but I could not find a moment for take the screenshots.
The Z95. Nebulon B frigates and other poor starships will spawn it.
The Y-Wing, many fighter models are from Warlords by Evillejedi.

This is the Nebula into the Warlords mod but I use it as the MKII versions from the KDY Defender and Nebula. Both use different skins, weapons and more. At my opinion Defender and Endurance are two class of starships from the New Republic fleet. It would explain the many starships with similar names.

This is the Heavy Y-wing, I made this design with the Warlords Y-wing.
This is the Assault figther, probably you know the design from the old Rebellion game, you could watch it into the video where the Rebel Alliance conquered Coruscant. The Colossus (one of the additional Titan) spawns it as a fighter. It is a very good attack ship and it adds anti-fighter weapons.
Interesting, I'm guessing it does not have a formal name, or even WIP identifier? Looks like it would make a good Corvette like ship.
Perhaps it was at one original guide but I do not know. But I choose spawn it from another starship as a fighter because I like the idea as one new feature.

Before I post the next unit added (one big), I would like know if you have seen these errors before and you know because they can happen, I found them into the dev log and I must say that it is the first time that I checked the logs.

I don't know about the first one, but the second group of errors is because you've given ships weapon damage values in an arc that doesn't have mesh points set up for it in the model. To fix those errors just go into the mesh files used by FrigateTechScout and FrigatePhaseScout and add proper weapon nulls for the left and right arcs.

The ship mesh ends with .scn and not .mesh

These are Softimage files; they aren't ready for use in any version of Sins. They need to be exported as .xsi files and then converted.
