Some weapons are weak but have big Values:

Also Shadow Dagger has 7 Attack and 59 Value. For comparison, Shadow Broadsword has 12 Attack and 36 Value.
I was too lazy to point all this out... I'm glad you took the time to do it... not sure why these values weren't reviewed before releasing the game... maybe they were and those values are by design.
It's not just weapons, but everything. There's an armor that has a 857 value if I remember correctly. Unless they want items whose sole purpose is to be sold (like those guiding weapons) then they do need to do a pass at the value of items in general.

Yeah, a lot of the weapons effects had been adjusted without changing their values. Im going through them now, thanks for the heads up.
Just 'value' ever really correlate to how much you can sell them for in the marketplace though?
I hadn't seen such a connection in 1.00 at least.
Also there is a sword in the campaign for a level 18 hero.... that one needs to be fixed because it hurts my logical brain to see all these weapons of lower hero level crop up that are more powerful!
I'd love to see a better increase in the sale prices of items. It's often that I'll get multiple good weapons, but without anywhere to use them, and selling them is has such small benefit. I know there's the desire to encourage adventuring instead of buying stuff and to not game the system, but it's also pretty frustrating to have 5 good swords that should sell for at least 50 gildar and get only 10 for them each.
Any chance there could be some sort of research item or bonus to an existing one that would improve buying/selling rates when you visit the shop? Maybe on one less-utilized research item?
I believe that items you can buy in the shop and create yourself have low values, while items you can only loot have higher value.
Sometimes I could swear alot of the issues with FE is you being lazy
