Just that. The earliest game you keep around and play (more or less) regularly. I'm simply curious.
My own is Hidden Agenda, from 1988. I reviewed it for a magazine when it first came out, enjoyed it thoroughly, and have played it since then. Not all the time, but it still works very well, and nobody has followed up on its way of handling things.
After that, Darklands, from 1992. A game that amazingly enough hasn't been redone, though I suspect the current rights owners' attitude towards remaking games probably accounts for that.
Over to you. Just please, refrain from stating something like "1988!!?! Wow, I wasn't even born then," because I at that point I will have to purchase a steel cane with a depleted titanium core and shove it where the moon don't shine. Thank you.
when you say regularly.. you mean back when, or continue up until now?
Probably console games. Defender of the Crown on my 8-bit nintendo I pull it out and play with it every few months since 1988 or so.
Super Mario Bros.
My earliest game I still play is actually team fortress 2, released in 2007. Although I play older games every now and then, that's the oldest game I play "regularly".
Solitaire
Master of Magic and Castles 2. I play both here and there every few months.
I'd have to say Master of Magic, Colonization (the original), and X-Com are the oldest ones I play regularly. I do break out some older ones from time to time, from Wolfenstein 3D to Warsong or Shining Force/Shining in the Darkness ( the former being tactical RPGs, the latter a dungeon crawler, all for Sega Genesis).

Shogun Total War 1 is the oldest I play regularly. MoM is the oldest I play at all, but not as often. Shogun - yesterday; MoM - January.
Total Annihilation
I'd say Heroes 3 (1999) and Majesty (2000) are the oldest games I still fire up on a semi-regular basis.

On annual trips to visit my in-laws, I still play Incunabula on the piece of brown-steamy-stuff they have for a computer.
I still play Total Annihilation, TA:K and Star Fleet Command II
In the last year I have revisited Dune 2000, Star Craft, Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, Moo1, Moo2, Moo3, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Star Control 2, Homeworld and Star Fleet Command.
I have been having an urge to revisit Sacrifice, Solaris (atari 2600), Star Flight, Sword of Sodan (amiga), Heroes of the Lance (Atari ST), Dark Colony, Sword of Aragon, and Phantasie (PC). All of these games have some parts of greatness that I want to lock in on. Of course I was a kid for some of them, so might be smoking crack... kind of like when you revisit STNG (as pointed out by Draginol) that it is not nearly as awesome as you remember.
These. I actually just beat Shining in the Darkness for the umpteenth time yesterday. Such a great game. I play Wolf3D and Spear of Destiny mainly because the map editor is so fun and easy to use. One of these days I'll finish my complete 60 levels of reinvented hell.
XCOM: UFO Defense
A real glutton for punishment, huh? Or has the game been improved somewhat with updates? Haven't played it myself since release.

Guessing the OP means "earliest computer game"? If so, I have recently played and have continued to play a computer chess program I dug out of the cupboard and gave to my son a few years ago after he tired of it. I think it was made in 1982. I still play Dominions 2, which might as well be made in 1982, even though it isn't. I recently replayed the original Deus Ex, whcih I love, and right after that Planescape: Torment.

You've given me an idea. I may just start another thread for the first computer game one's played, as opposed to the earliest you still play regularly.
Same here. The quickest I have beat it is 14 days, playing it on my cell phone a little here and there. I invent wacky challenges now like keeping the princess and the lizard guy in my party as long as possible. Funny how some of us seem to have almost identical taste in old video games.

For me, it would be either Birth of the Federation or Lords of the Realm 2. (I can't remember which one I owned first.)
