Is it bad that I name all my Capital Ships and Titan after ponies when I am playing? Me and my bf were playing with a couple random dudes the other night and one of them was raging about that He called us fags, and we were like, Yeah. And? Anyways.. PONY!!
People seem to go out of their way to hate on bronies. There are some fans who do try to shove it in people's faces, but they're a minority
It's very similar to how anime fans were treated in the mid-90s. Maybe it's where I'm coming from that makes me tolerant of the ponies, and the fanart's interesting to look at.
- then again, I'm the sort who believes in keeping any fandoms I have in the closet, with all the other scary beasts.

Yes lol. I think the only reason the dude raged on me was he didnt like my Carrier Rainbow Dash destroying his capital and its fleet. They did end up eventually rage quitting
