I figured that I might as well make this thread to draw any fellow bronies out of the woodwork of the forums. This thread is intended for bronies to discuss all matters My Little Pony related.
Update: The video challenge has its own thread now under the title "CHALLENGE: Video Stare Effect", or something like that.
Update 2: I have now been declared Lord Brony of these forums.

Update 3: Twilight_Storm is the champion of the 127 Hour Pony Picture Challenge.
Update 4: We have our own mod now. Found here: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/438185/page/1/#3296174 Currently a WIP.
Hopefully there are some other bronies out there in the forums.
I prefer my muffins, thank you.

I assume the face means you are familiar with that horror of horrors.......On the bright side of life, can you count to muffin? Derpy can.

...Actually, I don't know what you're talking about...do I want to?
You tell 'em, Luna!!!
In that case, do not read this page. Or watch the video.

And no. You do not. Cupcakes is one of the top 5 creepypastas (creepypasta=creepy and grimdark as f*** story) of all time, and it is about ponies. Our ponies.
Me and the bf did a Pony marathon this weekend to prepare for Saturday!!
Oh. I knew about cupcakes. I thought there was something about muffins too. You know, other than Derpy's obsession.
I just thought it was a funny pic, I like spoilers. But hasbro seems to have sniped it...
Ummm...I'm sorry. But Bronies couldn't possibly be creepier. That show is like a pedophile recruiting video.
Sticks and stones, charon. Sticks. And Stones. But it's okay. We'll love and tolerate you anyway.
No.
That show is a children's cartoon, but, as with lots of things, others outside the 'target audience' are also entertained/enjoy the show.
Eg. I am 58 and have 4 tattoos....one I drew [see my avatar] but the others are cartoon characters....Marvin, Taz, and Wile E.
There's nothing particularly weird about that....
Warner Brothers tattoos on a 58 year old isn't weird because it's a show from your childhood. 58 year olds organizing into groups called 'bronies' based around a new show for small girls is beyond weird.
Not from our perspective. And none of us are even half of 58 that I'm aware of. Except Jafo. But he just hangs out here.
Jafo is the latest outsider to hang around here.
Charon, the show is written for children AND their parents. A lot of things i nthe show actually would go well over a childs understanding. And these facts are from Laura Faust herself who developed the show and ran it the first season.
Also as someone else pointed out, a LOT of adults still watch cartoons, so to each his own.
I'm an adult that still watches cartoons. I think you guys are fucking nuts. I can't imagine being this creepy over what is essentially a run of the mill anthropomorphized cartoon. I didn't get this excited over He-Man when I was 5.
It's really not a bad show as far as I can tell, but there's some sort of faustian pact going on here for so many raving lunatics to all coalesce around the same simplistic cartoon in such a rabid fashion.
Nicely put. Perhaps it's just a 'fad'.....like planking....except safer.....
That would be fine, however I suspect that the bronies fascination with children is hardly parental. And I watch tons of cartoons, always have. But there's something very wrong about adult men being obsessed with colorful pink ponies, wearing their pony t-shirts and organizing into groups.
One of 'the rules' of Stardock's forums is social tolerance, without discrimination or prejudice.
There are 'organized groups' of people who are particularly unwelcome....[KKK for one], but fan[club]s of kids' cartoons are not an issue.
Might I suggest that if you don't understand the obsession you avoid this thread and the unwarranted imposition of one's standards over another's. Leave the forum handling to the sites' Admins. They do it well enough without external input...
no prob!
What, no countdown?
