I won't lie I do alot of lurking here, but most of the OP's posts are overwhelmingly negative and suggest that he's either a basement dweller or extremely young. Alot of these "troll threads" are more or less flamebait and should be promptly deleted, hell im falling for it right now.

There are also the 'sportsman trollery', when you actively sip a bit of obnoxious serum and just trample away, but does not actually hold any grudge against anyone, or feels your words by heart. This flavour of trolldom also tends to raise your immune system defenses against all trolls, as you become aware that many of those trolls may just have a strange sense of humour and want to have a good time (just like you).
It's like extending the 'best friend status' to barely-known people over the internet. You know, those best friends which can bemoan, harass, swear and otherwise ridicule each other, but are always in good terms and don't take any of each other's shit by heart, cause they know it's just an expression of *FRATERNAL LOVE*

BUT you do have to realize game just came out and think back how long it took them to balance diplo. Diplo is not perfect but its balance is All right I guess. Here they have 6 races with more ships and its not just rock paper scissors anymore.
Regarding people that are posting. Well free speech to everyone and especially now nob to skilled ration is higher than ever. It is up to devs to decide if they want to make balanced game or a game where you build one ship and it is insta win. They need to put weight on whose opinion matters more someones who is playing game for 5 years and knows inside workings very well or someones who just bought the game.
IMO that decision will decide if this will be just average game which you will play 1-2 times or a game whose replayability will raise it above all others. Replayability made sins what it is nothing else.
You also need to give them some credit I mean in the end they did nerf titans back in beta and if you remember there was tons of posts not to do it.

Corvettes are OP for like... 2 months now? It's really not hard to nerf them at least a bit, to make game semi-enjoyable. I played 2 matches today and felt really, really bored. Early game is now spam fest because of corvettes. Late game 1v2 is so much harder becacuse of titans. In diplo late game pro player could 1v2 fairly easily, but with titans importance of skill is diminshed.
Besides, it's not only about current balance. It's about concept of some of new ships in Rebellion. Mostly...
Corvettes. Anti-everything ship in counter based game, which has speed of SC. You can try to nerf it, but in the end it's still ANTI-EVERYTHING ship in COUNTER BASED game. Again, it's diminishing importance of skill, and ruining fun factor.
This game has become spam fest. Diplo in its history had it's fair share of OP ships, but none of them were faulty in design.
Corvettes are really just an issue until flak can be brought out in sufficient numbers. I think the main difficulty with balancing them has been something that nerfs them early on without making them worthless later when players have access to as many AoE's as they want.
I think he was saying that just because a noob doesn't understand the game and doesn't know what they are talking about, skilled players don't have the right to be mean to them...

MP matches are wont by the team who gets VR or VL in eco sport. If your team have advent or tec in eco spots and enemy got vasari, your team loses unless teams are stacked in player skill department... and i mean REALLY stacked.
Your side players must be complete incompetent idiots not to hold long enough for vasari to get up to speed. And after that, good luck fighting off either fully fleet capped VL omnomnoming all your stuff, or fighting off 20 roaming 0 pop cap orkies, while VR player feeds everyone with recourses. VR virtually need first upgrade pop cap to be able mop the floor with 5 or 6th tier pop cap fleets. Balance my hairy ass...

Flak in sufficient numbers.... I clearly said early game. Early game usually decides whole match.
Not to mention all early game fleet builds (there's pretty much 1 lol) are designed to counter corvettes. That pretty much explains that they are OP.

Let me remind you, all you SP players, that the same tactics that are OP in MP, literally stomps AI to the ground.
SP AI is as easily beaten by current OP stuff as any other player who dont do metagame.

In short most of the sins MP community seems to be of the mindset of if you don't play MP then shut the fuck up and your opinions don't matter so don't bother posting.... Sounds like a fun community to be a part of.
