I'll always listen to ideas, but I'm modding to make the game the best game I would like to play. If I don't want to encounter something in my game, it isn't going into any of my mods. So floating an idea is great, but if you wander over to making a "request" for what should be in my mods you'll be stonewalled by me.
I'm definitely not interested in religions as gameplay tree.
My immediate efforts will be focused on the mod Goetia, a mod that adds 90 summons to the existing spellbooks to allow for true "summoner" gameplay.
Long-term for Stormworld, I'll be adding unique units to each faction. The idea is basically to put trainable non-designable units in every tech tree for every faction. Warfare units will be special commando-soldiers for factions. Civilization units are those you'd expect to see in a culturally advanced society of that race. And Magic units will be mythical additions and magic-casters for the factions. I think the unique units are what will be the most rewarding long-term for players. Right now I feel like each faction in the mod can be played in a game and it will play differently from any of the other factions. My hope is that the unique units will add another layer to that, so you can play each faction in three different ways as well. If I can do that successfully, in my book, the mod will be a significant upgrade from the vanilla game.
Those two put together should put around 200 new units in the game, something I feel will enhance the tactical combat immensely both in graphical variety and fun. Not to mention the many different ways a faction can be played as a result.

HF, I had a frost giant champion, there is small problem with it I clicked buy&equip in the shop on the mount (horse or anything ) The cash is gone, but the mount do not appear in the inventory (and is not equipped obviously)
I didn't notice it at first and clicked again.. effectively wasting most of my wealthy early cash

I notice there is a pretty nice cloak in the sovereign design screen that is free (costs no points), I assume this is a mistake (not that I am above selecting it for my warlock Lizardman ).

Another thing just noticed. I keep getting the unstoppable cogwheel and the demon soul contract every time I visit a shattered statue. I am playing on the Karazzan's Fist map if that helps. I should note that I am using Frogboy's experimental .exe.

No, thank you for reporting those bugs. The cogwheel was obviously out of place, but I just didn't luck upon any of those particular goodiehuts in my games so I didn't see it.
I also had that cogwheel but wasn't sure if intended or not
I know, I meant blocking the buy&equip button in the shop window in such case, or at the very least allow you to keep the horse in the inventory even if you can't use it. as of now the money just disappear.
Do these factions replace the original factions or just get added in with the original factions because I just downloaded this and put it into the correct place and when I load up the game, I only see your factions, none of the original. (I also just put in sean's mod to try it out) Maybe I am just too tired right now and am missing something.
If you place the Stormworld_ExpandedFactions_NoVanillaSov directory in your Mods folder, you'll lose your original factions. If you don't, you won't.
I see, didn't realize that. It is late and my eyes are tired.
I am hoping for mod changes that will let me do this. For now the best solution is what you see.
Sean's and HF's mods are incompatible. Use one or the other.
rivermod is compatible, all the rest isn't.
I have a long list of things I want to add to my mod. One of them is the BG Unit Stats, but it's not a huge priority. Even after that, I will have to do alot of touching up on his races to make them competitive with the world. Probably in a few months or so if you are thinking of waiting on either.
Heavenfall, I see that each of your races has two PossibleAITrait. Have you found a way to increase the maximum number beyond this or do you know if there is a way to adjust the probability of the AI gaining a specific trait?

No idea. I notixed with 3 they randomly chose 2.
That's the same conclusion I've come to. I'll see if I can in some way get a probability tag to work. Thanks for the answer.
Hey HF as usual great mods .
I'm playing frost giants and am able to build a death forge, but the spell to apply it to one of my cities is no where to be found!
HF, I had an issue with a city enchantment (the one that berserks own units and withers enemies).
I've been playing Lizardmen Undead King was attacking, for some reason the game halted after berserking. I had to click autoresolve to get it further.
This is your mod or vanilla issue?
