There are a lot of times when I am running around with a Strong or Deadly army but a Weak group or two stand in my way of important things. Although I'd love to hit autoresolve, I don't because I don't want my champions / sov using mana to destroy pests.
So, I would like to see a checkbox or button or something when you go into tactical combat that is basically "Autoresolve, but don't use permanent resources."
I'm not sure if your army uses things like potions / scrolls when autoresolving (again, I never use it), but I know they use mana and I would like to have the option to prevent that. This would allow me to use autoresolve to clear out pests while going into tactical when dealing with actual threats.
Yea .... I'd also like a (no mana plz k thx by) option for Autoresolves ...
Its pretty bad when I could have won with 0 mana, and instead my sov uses "mana blast" twice for 60 total mana ...
I agree as well.
This use to happen in MOM to. If you au combat you saw your caster using tons of mana sometimes on useless spells.
Much better if you can give your stack some rules of engagement. prior to combat.
Something that's been bothering me too is that a lot of time i'll have a really good character let's say lvl 15 fully geared and a new champion i just recruited lvl 5 or 7 that's really weak and on auto resolve he'll always die. I wish the auto combat will notice this char is really weak and play safe with him accordingly.
I agree with you, in my last game I had 2 magic users and I always kept them far from the main line so they could fire at a distance. First tiem I auto resolve they both die.
Guess some things are a bit off still
Oh no! Looks like they get a scratch, a cracked skull, broken leg or hallucinations! Funny, if I was in their situation, I probably would have just died.
Note to self: Don't take the StevenAus champion, he's the only champion with "permadeath" in FE.
I would like to be remembered fondly (but hopefully utilized carefully and not to die!), and not be incompacitated with a cracked skull, broken leg, hallucinations, fleshy wound (or whatever that one's called now ) and whatever else that's bad. But if I had a built-in "die permanently only if no serious injuries would be inflicted by dieing" meter, so as long as I got "just a scratch" or "missing ear" (although I'm not sure if I like the missing ear ) from dying I wouldn't mind coming back after dieing with an injury, too much is just too much, you know? I want to be remembered fondly, not be Lazarus with a triple bypass, cracked skull, fleshy wound, broken leg and hallucinations! If I was a FE Champion with all those complaints, I would certainly have a headache!
