Ok, i've read a couple posts about how skilled players are assholes. Well I AGREE, i'm an asshole ^^ i'm cocky, irritating, but somewhat nice sometimes ^^
Witch is why, i'm proposing to teach some tricks and a tiny bit of my overall greatness to newbs
If you know me, and can't stand me, i hate myself too, so we have a common goal to work towards : hating KL3 a bit more.
my steam name is KL3MZ, same for sins if i don't smurf, so just steam me or whatever, and i'll have a game with you if i'm not already stirring star's ass with some incredible new object we never used before.

I can't believe I ever had a tiff with you Kl3MZ,

Babies NAO!
I might take you up on this, i sent a steam invite. I've love to get a better hang on this game. I'm in the process of moving to a new condo so my time is kinda limited but I could still get some gaming in.
Does the teachings include famous french manuver , giving up before the battle , o great one ?
Im actually new to ICO and would like to learn how to not get rofl-stomped
It's just going to take 50-100 games against other people to learn to be able to hold your own. But look at the bright side--what kind of a game would it be if a new guy could hold his own against people with 1000+ games versus other people? It's a strategy game that offers room for growth and improvement, which is part of what makes it so compelling.
I suggest reading the Strategy discussion forum and studying replays of games. Study how the pros play and try to understand what they are doing and why. Ultimately, there's no substitute for experience. It might be best if you can play in 5 on 5 games (10 people) where the teams can be set up so that they are balanced out. That way you have less pressure to kill someone you're fighting and can focus more on figuring out how to make a contribution to the team.
I Did play this game por 100+ hours... but in single player.
im just too afraid of multi . One day i did play in PVP in 1vs1 with a teacher who told me what to do for "effective-LRM-spam", but he left near the end and ive lost (coz my rival had his tutor to the end! T_T).
And im EVEN more afraid of Beta multiplayer coz of the corvettes spam and that titan thing!
Vatticson, try playing multiplayer on the Diplomacy server. Most of the pros have left and are playing the Rebellion Beta now, and there are lots of new people on the Diplomacy server. So, now is the time.
You could also host a game with a title like "new players only". I think most pros would respect that.
I will try your advice for sure thx!
Im somewhat against playing Rebellion multi coz´ of the corvette spam thing i do hear sometimes!
Teach the modders how to play to have proper pro vs modders matches: There very stubborn as it is because of there modding skills so convince them in a more sincere manner-which i lack-but your in the position to do so since your on ICO.
