I have compiled a list of the new techs and abilities (even ships) using folders found in the Rebellion folders and in the Trinity folders, so the sources are legitimate. If you doubt me, here is a path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sins of a solar empire rebellion\GameInfo.
Please feel free to contribute - you have have strong suspicions or even proof that a tech or ability belongs to a certain faction, please feel free to say so!

Here are my results. I will be trying to sort through them by hand, and even making a few of them easier to read.I will be updating the list every so often.I will be making the following assumptions: 1. Anything with the name of nanites belongs to the Vasari. 2. Anything dealing with phase/hyper space belongs to the Vasari. 3. Anything dealing with shields or synergies belongs to the Advent.

An update. I have found the joy that is the English.str file. While looking through the files in an attempt to find what was chasing the Vasari, I found that this file gives the description of everything. Trying to figure out what is chasing the Vasari, however, takes priority, but I will update this list with the corresponding descriptions of techs and abilities.
Edit: I know that it can not be hidden in any binary files, but I fear that I do not have the proper software to search for this long awaited answer, but at least I found the English.str file!

There is quite a bit of research techs or abilities to choose from, but I do not want to bore people with things that are already known. Give me ten research topics, or abilities that you want to know about, and I will look them up.
Edit: I am considering putting this stuff into a table... That is, unless, if other people think that reading this is too hard.
Well I need things like stats and abilities for the new ships, I have already created pages for the TEC ships. Someone added the Advent and Vasari titans abilities and purpose, but I don't have much info on the TEC titans.
I know that TEC Loyalists are defensive, and TEC Rebels are offensive and can ally with the pirates. The screenshots I have seen of the Advent and Vasari selection screens aren't high enough resolution for me to easily read them, and I haven't even seen the TEC selection screen yet.
Are their new tech trees for the Loyalists and Rebels, that is what I was led to believe. This was before they stated that the Loyalists and Rebels were separate factions, something that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Where do all of the new techs fit into the tech trees? I have already heard about such techs as Twin Fortresses and Truce Among Rogues.
All I ask is that people try to emulate the style of the existing pages, and I will gladly help in anyway I can.

I am quite sure that ship descriptions are in the file I am going through, but as of now I am trying to get the information for my list. Sooner or later, I will be able to help you out with the ships and (some) of their abilities.
Also... Both of the TEC factions have the same exact tech tree from Diplomacy, but each faction gets some of its own unique techs. The same will go for the Advent and Vasari.
Edit: I would find it unnerving to fight against an Advent Rebel, seeing as they have quite a few techs to attack other planets from within their own gravity wells.

Gang - Please note that a LOT of the stuff that's being uncovered is not final or even correct. While the base files may be present, we are not actively merging in updates to the other races to your build. Just trying to avoid FUD and other non-focused discussions.
Ah well. But at the very least I have uncovered the names of the new Corvettes and capital ships,I also thought that the Advent Rebels being able to attack a gravity well from a different gravity well would have been quite unbalanced. Mayhaps this will get revised?
