Seriously. If I'm deciding whether to unlock a +food or +materials building, I want to know how much I currently produce so I can tell exactly how beneficial it will be to me.
I gave this a thumbs up when it was suggested in another thread, so I'll do it again here. If I already have a town with a farm and an apiary, I don't need to select a bakery when leveling up. But if the town has no other food resource, I might want the bakery. Just one possible example.
This was a problem back in WoM as well.
+1 one to this, I actually just thought of this today.
Suggested years ago...I would like it, but it doesn't seem likely at this point.

This is more important than it sounds... very annoying atm. If you stick with the stupidly unpronouncable random names you have no chance of remembering them... FFH2 (+ Master of Mana modmod) at least you got used to the names of each races first couple of cities, although not even necessary there as most events had a recentered window.
This one is also still annoying in the current version. I want to know if my city needs more food, its current production rate, etc., before deciding which improvement to unlock.
I strongly agree with this. We could be given the ability to open the "City Information Window" on top of the level-up dialog, but once closing the info window we would need to choose. But we could still open up the info window again if we wanted to. But the info window should not be able to be cycled for other cities in this case.
Just hang tight... this is all being reworked for Beta 4.
