A/V
Sweet Suite its gonna be. Where's all my proggies???
Wait till I get mine installed. This is gonna be a blast.
Helen (Rats), I think I'll have to ban you from using my graphics..... you're making me look bad!!! Those are just TOO good!! and now I'll have to install Rainmeter as well so I can use them........................... Damn you!!
As I said in the other thread this is one I finished a day or so ago, its called Diamond Earth, cos if you look at its shape its a Diamond and look into that it looks like earth there is no orbs or photo shopping of any kind, its all fractal I did not realize that this thread was up so I am going to show it here as well . It is still in moderation at the moment
But... but...
Not bloody likely, lol.
Seriously though, I'm enjoying doing this Rainmeter. It's been fun to learn new things (I never would have thought about using a gradient on the stroke setting), and I'm loving the Parisienne theme. I'm picky when it comes to Blinds and stuff, but this ticks all the right boxes for me.
Oh, and I'm actually starting to like being called Rats...... so damn you too!
Edit: Thanks for telling me the Parisienne skin for Xion was done, you sod!!

Me too, I've just had verticals installed in every room in my house..... I just went for plain white though.
OK, then your full name can be Rats Can Die.................. (see what I did there?)
Ahahahahahahahaha. Thank God I'm wearing my corset today, or I'd have split my sides laughing.
Hmmmm, not quite as likeable.
.....a Doctor's office with a physical rehab center.
What I'm working on.
Erm, am I missing something?
well its been approved but it is in my gallery oh well there goes the good feeling I had about this one reply 337, I was so pleased with it IMO I thought it was the best one, but for some obviously not. GRRRR I am so angry at myself as I know I could have done better. I know there are others here that have had the same done to them and they would probably be feeling as I do right now, and yes I remember the talk I had with someone on here about giving up, I recon there should be another page for the walls that don't make it to the main page there should be something better rather than just going to our own private gallery lets face it not too many people go to private gallery's all the time. I know I am going to cop some flack for saying this, but I am only saying it cos its what everyone thinks there is too much favoritism going on in moderation,
Nope. That's my screen after getting almost everything put back into place. Regular acts of insanity shall proceed apace as usual.
Parisienne Rainmeter... done! Well almost. Got to mess around putting helpful information in some of the .ini files, so people can edit things properly. I'll be uploading it tomorrow, or the weekend at the latest.
I'm gonna stand on top of the gallery with my net. As soon as it gets there ....... BANG!! Mine.
Starcandy, that looks awesome!
Thanks sViz. Couldn't have done it without BoXXi's PSD's though. And it's been a good learning experience for me. First time using vector masks, and oh boy were they helpful. Plus I've done a few more readings and features on this Rainmeter, so it's been a nice advancement from my first one. Still so much to learn though.
@Uvah - Silly sod, lol
You're one up on me. I still haven't quite figured them out yet. lol
Very good for resizing stuff without any distortion. Select one of the path/shape creating tools (U) (rectangle, rounded rectangle, Elipse, Polygon, etc) Make sure you have paths selected up in the top left, not shape layers. Create your rectangle or whatever, press A to switch to Path Selection Tool, right click path and select add vector mask. Press Shift and F5 to fill with a colour, apply layer effects or whatever. You can resize down nice and easy using the Path Selection Tool and again right clicking on the path (make sure the path thumbnail is selected) and select Free Transform Path.
Couldn't use them on the inner gold layers, they still distorted for some reason, but for the background frame and Carbon pattern layers they were invaluable.
Cool. Saved for future reference.
No problems. And keep in mind you can do that with any path, including ones made with the pen tool.
Speaking of pen tool, I finally got around to using it. Takes a bit of getting used to but once I play with it enough I should nail it pretty quick.
Parisienne Rainmeter ready for download LINK
@Uvah- I totally suck with the pen tool, lol. I really should practice more with it.
Okay ... so ... you play with the pen tool and I'll play with the vector masks. Somewhere along the line between the two of us something is bound to sink in. lol
