While playing today I kept a log of items that annoyed me during play.
Suggestions:1. I found it hard to identify which units had remaining moves. It would be great if you showed the remaining stack moves in the unit tree - ideally directly, but a tool tip would be better than nothing - or some symbol like the "Zzzz" on idle cities. Was there not a feature in WoM that activated the next unit with available moves left?2. Please make the active unit blink on the minimap3. Targeting tiles in the strategic map is, as in WoM, imprecise, which leads to erranous moves. I suggest that the "pointed at" tile should be highlighted e.g. with a golden border4. There is a lot of micro management in pushing units to the front line. I would like a "rally point" feature for armies that allows a city's unit production to automatically be sent marching to a user defined location.
Bugs:Monsters standing on a tile with "pillar of flame" should move out of the way, even if it requires fighting rather than stand around die over a few turnsUnit scaling is disproportionate between cloth map and the normal map. Selecting huge is rediculous on the cloth map, but useful on the normal map.
I totally agree with everything here.
1. Especially with the auto end turn, I found it hard to figure out if it was still in one turn, or moving in the next. Having a movement bar that was visible and intuitive would really help, especially on the icon in the top left, so I could see who has movement points at a glance.
2. Maybe not blink, but identify them somehow. It should blink when you zoom out to the strategic view. Double clicking things should snap you to their location.
3. Yup!
4. Yup again. I was looking for this forever, assuming such a feature would be so obvious in a 4x game I just must not be seeing it.
