I came across a small game and thought it could be interesting for some of you.
The game is called "Unepic" and is a mixture of RPG and platform game. It is also funny if you like those kind of humor. The player explores a huge castle, kills monsters, fights bossmonsters, loots treasures and solves riddles.
You can find the game here.

I ran across this right before I got my hands on Skyrim, and it was amazing. It's a rougelike sidescroller. I've never seen one before, let alone one that's full of humor and that has levels with tons of secrets that you can explore for hours. It's long, really long, which is impressive considering it was made by one guy. That does however show when it comes to balancing and a few other rough edges.
Still, if it weren't for Skyrim, I would have played it a lot more.
This looks pretty cool for something small. I might check this out. Good looking out pointing this out. We share with each when we find decent games all the time. That's what this part of the forums is for. You're good man.
Looks cool. Thanks
Damn, this game is great. Just played through the whole demo (which is substantial) and buying the full game now. I don't even normally like this sort of game, but I'm loving this one.
Regarding the guy in the video's criticism of the humor: It's more like it's humor about the characters than about the references dropped. The main character just happens to be a reference-dropping guy, because he contextualizes things in terms of his experiences. And the references do let up in frequency quite a bit later on. So far my favorite part is the quest to bang the goblin women which I thought was quite well-written, despite being pretty small.
I'm glad, that you like the game so it wasn't a bad idea to post it here.
I just finished the game and damn is the end hard, even on medium difficulty. This game is definitely not as forgiving as the typical games nowadays.
I like that!
This gives me the feeling that i have really accomplished something.
