Not only is it easier to go through all of Stardock’s programs but many programs you’ve purchased can be re-downloaded directly from the new store, no client required (and we’re adding more all the time).
This has been changed, thank you for the heads up!
No problem, got my hopes up a little bit, but I knew it couldn't be true
I find it interesting that most (but not all) of the Premium Themes do not display the system requirements listed on the product purchase page.
For example here is Koi: https://store.stardock.com/product/ESD-SDD-W563 (system requirements are not listed)
but for Abracadabra: https://store.stardock.com/product/ESD-SDD-W276 (system requirements are listed)
I know that most people will be coming from Stardock.com where the system requirements are indeed listed, but it would not hurt to list them any time there is a "Buy Now" button, or at least be consistent.
I just found out that I bought Mass Effect in 2010. Gonna go try it out.
And looks awesome and very good on the usability side
Why is it stuff like this is always announced when I'm in the pub getting wasted?
And who the heck is Skittles? Where did she come from?
I'm going to bed now to sleep off my drunken stupor (and probably dream about Skittles). Wake me if there are any more announcements...
On the other hand, I'm probably at my best unconscious
2of3 goes and uninstalls GameStop
I don't know what happened with impulse after it became GameStop, but every time I ran it I ended up with a HUGE cursor afterwords! No joke....the thing was like 5 times bigger after running GS. Only a reboot would fix it.....glad to be rid of it
Thank, it work perfectly... will bookmark the URL for future use...
Really like the new store. Somebody finally understands that functionality beats glitz every time.
Too basic and plain for my tastes (as someone called it Metro, yuck). To be fair, I honestly don't remember what it looked like before though. The premium themes section should *really* show a preview when you expand the list, instead of having to click on every single one of them to see what it looks like. Very inefficient and time consuming.
Speaking of Koi (and the others) it looks like the bigger preview is of 7, but none of the expandable full-size shots show the theme on 7.
Works well, clean and easy to use. Guess everything Stardock is updating will look Metro'ish now.
my WB skin Alpine by MikeB314 is not listed in my Order History
as for the new site it's ok not a fan of the borrowing Icons (aka Metro) but like the .EXE's
EDIT: If you used a different address when you purchased Alpine, send me a PM with that address.
No not My Downloads it's is there
in my Order History it is not showing
WHICH programs are safe to download?
We really need more info on this.
After the incident with the WB update borking my PC and a few others having the same issue, I hoped when things were updated we would get something a little better than that. I realize the client is in the works, but there needs to be more info and/or instructions so folks don't go through what some of us already have.
I would think that would be a no brainer. It makes you guys look bad when that kind of stuff happens.
Stardock releases are doing a great job of filling the gap between holidays. I just might make to my Christmas sweater party in one piece.
