Monday morning 8AM (Real world time)I'm having my gallbladder removed. It's been causeing me nothing but trouble the past years.
OUT!! BE GONE, YOU FOUL THING!
Nervous? Not the slightest. I'm actually looking forward to it!
The procedure is quite "simple". Can be done in one of two ways.
1. They poke 4 sticks through my belly, and cut it out that way - and I'll be released the same day. (For some serious pampering by my girlfriend)
2. They drag out the big chainsaw, slice my up and remove it the 'old style' way - 2-3 days recovering in hospital. (Fuck that.....)
I'll update my Facebook about the progress from Monday afternoon - when or if I wake up.

Won't say a word about the "poking" ... don't want to jinx it.... Say, make sure they don't remove yer implant, Borgy Snowy!
get well soon
Yep! I had mine removed the 4 sticks way, relatively painless.
I always knew you had way too much gall. Hopefully you won't be such an a%#hole when you get out!
Seriously.....Lykke til og god bedring
The look on Snowman's face goes perfect with that shop. Priceless.
Snowy...Good luck with your surgery, hope all goes well.
If you die, can I have your skin collection?
(Keeping me away form skins should motivate you to pull through if nothing else will.)
Leave the nurses alone, Snow....
...save the one bottom right for me...she looks cute...
My dear wife had it done the old fashioned way some years back. It was not fun and it was not pretty yet she's still here! Hopefully you'll just get the poke! GOOD LUCK!
get well soon, frosty
Hoping all goes well and you get to the pampering as quickly as possible.
I had Ascending Cholangitis year before last..... multiple gallstones.... 7 days in hospital on intravenous antibiotics....doc told me to go home and grab a toothbrush and head straight to emergency where she had faxed through my details and told them I was on the way.....most enlarged and inflamed they'd seen... takes a lot to get me to the doc... actually.. 'til I could no longer move...
I still have my gall bladder complete with stones.... doesn't really worry me... though they say I should have it out... I'm kinda attached....
Out here.... it's overnight for the keyhole and 7 days in hospital for the 'old style'... one day....
good luck on monday.....
Can they make you better looking while you're in there too?
Take it easy Morten..... good luck.......
Good Luck with the procedure Snowman Hope all goes well...
Hope everything goes well and as expected, though this is not really the time to be depending on luck, if you know what I mean.
Last year at age 61 I had the first surgery of any kind and it was to take care of cataracts in both eyes. To say the least I was somewhat concerned but there was need as I now have great eyesight.
Crap, she was my pick too.....I guess Jafo out ranks me..... [e digicons]:'([/e]
Good luck Snowy, and behave yourself.
Best of luck to you, Snowy, and I hope you have a speedy recovery
We are a bunch of crocks. I'm going in Thursday to have an operation on my back (5 effin' years it's taken them to decide).
I don't think I'll be fit to mess with the nurses
Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery to both Snowman and FuzzyLogic.
@Snowman. Don't mention that you collect skins. You never know what they'll send home with you.
@ Fuzzy. The nurses may be safe for a little while, but there's always Physical Therapy.
Eat as much fat-laden food as you can between now and then. 'Cause it's gonna be restricted after the surgery.
Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery.
Here's wishing you a warm bed, a cold beer, and a speedy recovery~
snowby.... i urge you to consider this before surgery.
there is a natural way to remove gallstones and not get butchered at the hospital.
I will find a good link for you,.
I wouldnt recommend this if i hadnt done it myself, i have done it, and the result was one HUGE gallstone (passed naturally) and about 3 or for little ones.

scroll down to "the cleanse" and do it. you will not be sorry, and again, ive done this myself and it WORKS, and no pain either, just a natural passing through the you know where....... (backside)
you will feel nausious, when you take it and the next morning, but you will get results about 16 hours later or earlier..
kitty xxxx
ummm.....was just wondering what hospital that is in the picture that's posted with this thread The nursing staff seems quite attentive. Perhaps I would like to go there to .....well, you know...get a check-up...or something..
