Most excellent!
Impulse was SD's greatest creation after GalCiv2
I can not say THANK you enough that you are going to give me a alternative to that product that GameStop now has.
If you are going to require us to download updates from a client instead of a downloadable patch, PLEASE make it consumer friendly like Impulse USED to be.
Thank you for remembering your customers.
I wish I saw this sooner :/, I'm Order# 2018234.... I ordered a bit over a year ago in 2010 actually, and got the discount.... but then the CCs changed twice in that time... I contacted customer support to change it to the new CC knowing this game has to be released soon, i mean after a year of production.... They told me I couldnt, but I could cancel and re-order, so they cancelled it, and now I cant get the 10 dollar discount....
I dont think I'll be buying this game after all x.x ..... Not for a while anyhow, was pretty dependent on that discount, and it sucks I didn't see this later.... Should really be in a newsletter....
With all due respect AV, you couldn't find a way to save $10 over the year you have been waiting either in bottle returns, recycling, or bumming a few bucks off your friends? Sucks yes, but should not be a deal breaker.
Well a few months ago I would've been fine and set, but yeah not even a newsletter, and they didnt even mention the development on their front page until very recently... I had to go to support with everything... Now I don't have the change to spare, not even for Skyrim...
I may find some money in the future, but I wouldn't have pre-ordered OVER a year ago intending to play the beta release, just to do this... So right now, it is a deal breaker... got barely enough to let the 30 squeeze by, but not a 40.
When you pre-order they don't charge you any money until it's ready to go. It sounds like you would have had to cancel your pre-order either way if you can't afford $30 or $40 for a game. Sorry for your luck bud. Save a few bucks here and there and you're set, not too hard.
