Important: RESTART Sins of a Solar Empire after activating the mod. This will avoid a common mini-dump after starting a game. If the game mini-dumps attempting to deactivate the mod (i.e. similar issue), then delete the EnabledMods.txt in your rebellion mod folder.

Quick synopsis
This mod introduces the colonial and cylon factions to the Sins of the Fallen universe. Both races will be playable with any of the planets, addons, and races included in Sins of the Fallen including the stock races. Both the colonial and cylon's factions will be balanced against the stock factions to support this approach.
Colonial Fleet
Relying on heavily armored and armed ships the colonial fleet is always on the defense looking for cylon incursions. Lacking shields of any kind Battlestar Point Defense systems are used to intercept incoming weapons and minimize damage to nearby frigates and cruisers supporting the fleet.

...actually, now that I really look at the size of the A-B it makes much more sense as a corvette.
I absolutly love this mod and I'm incredibly happy to see it still getting worked on! Is there any chance that we'll see one or another ship update, like a battle-refittet columbia class as it was seen in BSG blood&chrome?
I received it and will look through the files. I need to fix the textures as that the Sot13t had some compatibility issues with later versions of Sins. I've had to remaster every ship that was brought in from Sot13t actually because of this as well as adding additional details that were though not possible originally like turrets on several of the ships.
Looks like icons are also needed too.
I'm not sure if this will make it in my next release but I don't see any reason it won't be worked in.
Unfortunately I don't possess the skills necessary to model a BSG ship effectively and I also don't have any active modellers on the team either.

Wow nice... can't wait for my Cylon fleet to blast it to pieces... hehe
I know that you're not really working on Cylons right now... but the CommandStar model (considering that it is a pretty powerful control ship) looks like it needs a fair bit of work.
Not sure if anyone is able to lend some time to fixing it up...
I cleaned up the team colors to atleast help some when that is enabled.
I'm also working on a build with a lot of cosmetic changes in it that I hope to get up this weekend.

hey Z i was wondering are u going to add hero units cause i think it would be quite cool tbh like in some other mods there are hero units like have admiral william adarma in it and appolo and starbuck on board cause in other mods there are heros just think that would be a good thing to add in anyway really love ur mod big fan keep it up

I changed my build process a bit so I could script the 7z creation and avoid some common mistakes I was making. As a result the Addons, Militia, Pirates, Planets and Translations are each in their own 7z file contained in the above downloads. The exception right now is the Cylon and Colonial militia, pirate are still in the base Fall of Kobol 7z.

Just looking at aesthetics so far. Really dig the frigate model diversity you're adding.
Insignificant Nitpicks:
-Gemenon Traveler icon dips considerably when highlighted.
-Text box clipping with the Heavy Constructors of both varieties.
-is it still Colonial One when you have 20 of them?
And, a thought, a refreshed version of that sot13t Attackstar/Proto-Hades model might make a fitting colony ship for the Cylon Loyalists.
Yeah, but the Colony needs to be huge... wouldn't be right otherwise...
I remember not being a fan of the Attackstar model... the design was pretty bad and looked more like a lame flying saucer... If it was done well and was just the top section of the Hades basestar without the second half, it would be much better. In fact, this model would serve much better as a cruiser type ship.
