Important: RESTART Sins of a Solar Empire after activating the mod. This will avoid a common mini-dump after starting a game. If the game mini-dumps attempting to deactivate the mod (i.e. similar issue), then delete the EnabledMods.txt in your rebellion mod folder.

* This mod uses some assets from Sins of the 13th Tribe (credit will be listed in the readme when released).
Quick synopsis
This mod introduces the colonial and cylon factions to the Sins of the Fallen universe. Both races will be playable with any of the planets, addons, and races included in Sins of the Fallen including the stock races. Both the colonial and cylon's factions will be balanced against the stock factions to support this approach.
Colonial Fleet
Relying on heavily armored and armed ships the colonial fleet is always on the defense looking for cylon incursions. Lacking shields of any kind Battlestar Point Defense systems are used to intercept incoming weapons and minimize damage to nearby frigates and cruisers supporting the fleet.

Np, that one was pretty bad and obviously not intended.
The Colonial ships look pretty shiny in comparison to BSG-R ships in the build that I have.
What is BSG-R?
The re-imagined show from the early 2000's. Sorry.
Well, they didn't have Sins Specular, Reflective and skyboxes to deal with I guess
Not sure when I'll look at data maps again but I can guarantee it won't be for a while.
Yeah, you definitely need to turn down the spec mapping on them.
I don't play with sky boxes on so it doesn't bother me much.
To that end I don't qualify it as a need and as stated previously I won't be looking at data maps for a long while.
Feel free to update them if it bugs you that much and send me the files.
Hi,
I have downloded and activated the mod correctly and when it starts it freezes on the loading screen. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Does it freeze or crash, and on what loading screen does it freeze on? Sometimes Sins takes a while to load data which can look like a freeze even though its working.
It freezes no mini dump or crash report i can press Windows+L to close the game with the task manager, in the first loading screen where i can see this little text.
90% of the time Sins freezes its really loading and can't do anything else. I've had extremely rare freezes where my entire PC locked up, but I've never actually had Sins completely freeze during loading. Unless Sins is installed to a solid state hard drive, expect it to take a while to load all the assets, especially for a large mod like Sins of the Fallen if you're loading three or more races.
What are your system specs?
What did you activate and in what specific order?
Is this for Diplomacy or Rebellion?

You're only supposed to load one militia race at a time.
Now i have activated only 1 militia race but it freeze.
And i have installed the mod on a vanilla SoasE Reb.
Did you download the Reb.0.12 version?
Try only activating Colonial and Core to troubleshoot.
Hi, is there anyway to scale the difficulty down?
I'm a fortifier and find it almost impossible to enjoy a quick game as the enemy always have 10x the fleet i do in the same amount of time, it's do-able but not always fun, it's fine for the longer drawn out games of tactics etc but sometimes i like sticking it on easy and just going from system to system with an annihilation force for fun.
but seems with this mod, even on easy it's closer to hard. unless this is intended then i guess i'm screwed lol.
