Quick synopsis
This mod introduces the colonial and cylon factions to the Sins of the Fallen universe. Both races will be playable with any of the planets, addons, and races included in Sins of the Fallen including the stock races. Both the colonial and cylon's factions will be balanced against the stock factions to support this approach.
Colonial Fleet
Relying on heavily armored and armed ships the colonial fleet is always on the defense looking for cylon incursions. Lacking shields of any kind Battlestar Point Defense systems are used to intercept incoming weapons and minimize damage to nearby frigates and cruisers supporting the fleet.

Modding Contributions Needed
It's my favorite ship in the mod. So our tastes must vary.
I think the Cetus is awesome.
Hey Z.... I'll be able to start offering suggestions from next week.. Are you getting many other suggestions? How about the dude that is helping you?
I found my mistake, everything is good
And by the way, a brilliant mod
JB
No... I think people want to help but I haven't had anything yet.
Though this forum is kinda meh for free flowing ideas too. I've thought about moving over to danman's forum where there's atleast some active posters. Maybe get some cross mod synergies especially as this mod is becoming more and more playable.
I feel pretty good about it's progress and keeping BSG alive in sins... The mod will need input though if people want the core to improve beyond my own designs.
We'd be glad to host a board area for you. Hopefully some of the Sins of the Prophets guys show up. They've got a really great team so far and they're making a lot of progress. If Dawn of the Reapers wants a board too I can arrange that.
That was my thinking too, plus Unikraken is interested in this mod too.
They have their own forum created... So no worries there.
touching up some textures when I can. The team colors on the Asgard were ugly. It took a bit of work figuring out how to extract the color area I wanted but the end result is much much nicer.
Looks Great Z.
Nice, so we'll be able to tell which colour owns which ships better?
Looks awesome Z. Cant wait to annihilate every single one of them with my basestars hehe...
I'm making the team colors that were already on the colonial ships look better. I haven't looked at the cylons yet to see what needs to be done.
Some cool screen shots in Rebellion.
much better, way easier to tell who they belong to in a fight. I don't think any of the cylon basestars have any obvious markings to have as player colours.
Hey Z, I tried to extract this, but it didn't work.... said that it's not a valid 7z file...
Very nice, the shadows what caught my eye.....
Sucks when the download goes bad on such a large file and limited bandwidth for streaming. I tried at-least.
Nice Screen shots Z!
Z, I miss seeing Basestars blow up. If I get even a small audio glitch you will be first to know.
Sign me up for the SVN.
I apparently gave some of you guys the wrong svn URL. Sorry about that. Given it's a read only SVN link I'll just post it here for anyone that wants to get the mod updates more frequently.
Here's the SVN info.
It sounds like Lavo's tortoise SVN is the way to go to download it.
1) Please download and install TortoiseSVN2) Next, navigate to your Mods-Rebellion v1.0XX folder (located in ...Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion)3) Right-click the folder and select "SVN Checkout" (NOTE: You will need to repeat this Y times in order to add in all the folders of the mod) 4) Set URL of repository: svn://urlhere.com/folder/subfolderand the checkout directory nameSins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.0XX\MOD NAME5) Click Ok and let it download. (If the folder is very large:) It is known that at times the download will abort while downloading. If this occurs, run SVN Checkout again, and do not delete the folder you already have, overwrite it instead.6) You should now have a full directory with a green checkmark7) To update: Just right-click the folders and select "SVN Update".
* I think you only need the http part below for TortoiseSVN
svn checkout http://zombiesrus5.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ zombiesrus5-read-only
Zombies, "http://zombiesrus5.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/zombiesrus5-read-only" gives me a "URL not found" error when I try to use Tortoise SVN to download from it.
The zombiesrus5-read-only would be the user name if your svn tool required. Just use the part quoted above.
Okay, I just downloaded it and it seems to be working; However, when I was downloading the Colonial folder, it gave me an error and it could not be loaded, so I exited it and tried to update the folder, same thing happened. I then deleted the folder and re download it and appears to be working.
About how large is the mod from the SVN?
I had a few glitches with the initial download too. But I'm testing updates after each checkin with TortoiseSVN and it seems to be working well after setup.
