How To Install Sins of the Fallen
Important: RESTART Sins of a Solar Empire after activating the mod. This will avoid a common mini-dump after starting a game. If the game mini-dumps attempting to deactivate the mod (i.e. similar issue), then delete the EnabledMods.txt in your rebellion mod folder.

Quick synopsis
This mod introduces the colonial and cylon factions to the Sins of the Fallen universe. Both races will be playable with any of the planets, addons, and races included in Sins of the Fallen including the stock races. Both the colonial and cylon's factions will be balanced against the stock factions to support this approach.
Colonial Fleet
Relying on heavily armored and armed ships the colonial fleet is always on the defense looking for cylon incursions. Lacking shields of any kind Battlestar Point Defense systems are used to intercept incoming weapons and minimize damage to nearby frigates and cruisers supporting the fleet.

We could always do a friendly competition Boomer texture versus early era texture...

So ZombiesRus5 what you think about the starbase model, proceed with uv and some Boomer based texture, well you can make your own uv and old school texture, we will see what wit better.
Well... I've gone through the model and looked at what I'll have to do to uv-map it. It is very very good.
For myself, my work will be challenging to texture it as the main textures I had on closer inspection were much to low resolution for a starbase of this caliber. I am re-organizing my thoughts on how to uv-map it now because of this

Are the Colonial's still a Full race unto them selves?
Yes, why would I take them away as a playable race
Cylon will be eventually too. Just fulfilling a request to get a Cylon militia out. I'm rebuilding the Cylons from the ground up so it will take a few weeks to get all the new re-designs, re-textures, new coding etc done.
My version, 3 render and 3 in game but i make small mistake with da.dds and it's killing eyes so if this will be used it need to be tune down...
And one more thing i make an uv for more detail, but it appears that way would give me a lot of low quality details, so i redone the uv to have less detail but with better resolution.

Nice! Asyou said though Koobalt.. def too white. Would be great to see a comparison to the old school cylon texture (after all, it looks as though the WarStar was from first cylon war era and the design resembles a TOS basestar).
I'm guessing that the icon for it will be changed as well?
Sorry if I've missed something here, but with the Boomer and the Cylon colony as Titans, does that mean that they won't be playable until Rebellion comes out?
no, I would think they would be playable just we wouldn't be able to implement them in the way Rebellion will until it comes out. That being the super large ship with awesome abilities of taking fleets on by itself and the new abilities that come with it. Also the ships having a 5th ability slot.
At the moment we can't do super large ships because the pathing and grouping AI in the game for ships makes for very, very bad space traffic jams.
