We've been getting a lot of questions about how to download and install your Stardock software purchases from both the past and present (and future, too, I guess). Well, here's the skinny on that. Get it? 'Skin'ny? *sigh*
Anyway, at the moment we are in a transition period. Specifically, we are transitioning away from Impulse being your main download and update method. Going forward, you can access all of your registrations and download links for Stardock software by logging in here:
https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products
This will give you a list of everything that is on your account, along with your serial numbers and installer download links. That's right, download links directly to the latest stable version of the software. Let's all pause to let that sink in.

Ok, then. Each application should prompt for activation the first time, just type your email address, and copy/paste from the page into the window, and you should be all set.
As always, keep in mind that trial versions of our software are not upgradable to the full versions by entering a product key, and they must be uninstalled and the PC rebooted before installing the full version of any program.
Common issues:
"I don't see [program name] listed, what happened to it?"
If you have registrations on more than one email address, you'll need to get them on the same account. If you have access to both email addresses, you can merge them together here:

If you don't have access to both, send an email to support@stardock.com with an order or serial number, or billing address for verification, and we'll merge them together for you.
"I just renewed my Object Desktop subscription, and Impulse still says it's expired!"
Because Impulse is now owned by Gamestop, your renewal only affects the Stardock side of things, so Impulse can't know that you've renewed. You will need to use the new download page to access the software.
"What about my games?"
If you've purchased any Stardock gaming titles (GalCivII, Sins, Demigod, Elemental), those will still be handled through Impulse. This site is for non-gaming software only.
"What about [problem that I haven't thought of yet]?"
Either post it here, or email support@stardock.com for assistance. If you're posting here, try to avoid posting things like serial numbers or personal email addresses.
Tiles is a beta. I just checked my account and it shows there, you should see it in yours.

Okie-dokie - I've been a bit behind on my Stardock stuff, and just read through this whole thread. It answers some questions, so thanks to everyone. One that I still have has only been hinted at, and that is if getting this stuff through DL links is permanent. Someone mentioned way back at the beginning that a new manager might be deployed (which begs the question of why get rid of Impulse in the first place, then? ) Is this a possibility? I'm lazy, and I don't want to have to go check links for new versions all the time and then spend a more time DLing and installing them all. I like to just click "update all" and be done with it. (I like Steam even better, in that I don't even need to be that proactive - it just updates stuff.)
I had pretty much quit buying games through Impulse shortly before the sell-off was announced anyway, so it's no great loss to me - but I sure would like something more convenient for my desktop software than manual links.

This may have been covered already but, I have a friend who wants Object Desktop. She has no bank account so, she gave me money and I'll be ordering for her on my card. My question is how do I do that, do I gift it?
Secondly, does she use Impulse, or thr Stardock Store?
I would say yes
but I think she can send a check in but it will take a Lot long cause the check has to clear first

Impulse won't work, she will have to use the SD Store.
Oky dok. I use her existing account info she used when she got the trial of DS, right? She will uninstall the trial and Impulse.
Island Dog - not to be a pain, but per my question above from last week: Is there any plans for a future download manager (I understand if nothing is "official" yet) or will it be staying with manual links, product-by-product?
I for one am glad to get rid of impulse. I have never been a fan of it anyway. never completely worked right. cant wait to see what stardock has in store for us. but would appreciate a few months credit on our accounts considering many of us cant download many of our updates. like we should be able to as paying customers.
Is this gonna be fixed sometime soon?

I go by my list here. SKS Pro, WFX3 and IconX are all missing from that page. SKS Pro still shows for me in Impulse but I don't have it installed. WFX3 shows also, but is not installable on this rig. IconX used to appear in Impulse but has been missing in action for a while. My laptop is XP though so access to IconX and WFX3 would be nice.
SKS Pro is not a big deal since it's not like I'm going to make a WindowBlind any time soon.
On the https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products page should be latest versions of softwares, but Stardock Multiplicity Pro 1.24 is not latest. On the Impulse I downloaded 1,26 version. Where can I check or download for sure the latest version? I bought lot of Stardock products, and quite hard to check one by one all products for upgrade.
_Saki: Fixed. 1.26 should now be showing for you (or at least in a few minutes while the servers sync). Also moved Pro from the 'Other' section to the 'Desktop' section where it should be.
Here's one that not listed in the first post.
On the My Accounts page, the following products have a 9 digit serial number (XX-XXXXXX). These titles fail the Activation step.

I have emailed support and for the second time got a canned reply to go to My Accounts page and use the serial numbers supplied. This is not helping me.
