Basically this is for all the players that wish they could of been in the first dominion 3 game and missed the chance or had some bad luck and were knocked out of the first game.

edit: requested the server to resend the turn (which wasn't sent before apparently), will advise on results of that workaround attempt.
edit 2: resend not work after 2 hour 'wait and see.' Something is snarky w server right now. Sauro... you captured provinces, plural? wow.

The score tables have changed, and show that Marverni's gem income grew since last turn; that implies that he did get his turn in on time.

so it was processed: now our admin i think has to request the file to be resent, i think
edit: i have tried to resend file to myself - so far is not working either ...
something is well messed up; perhaps llamaserver is down with emailing turns - there is also again difference between current time and update time ...

Actually, while on this topic, I wonder if we could all agree *not* to use the in-game messaging system. It is slow, does not allow you to keep messages, and really is kind of crap.

I would caution against using them as suppositories however.
Perhaps so, but given the number of really nasty dining habits some sentients have, death gems as supositories might be the lesser of two evils.

I've received two different in-game messages, but neither was from you. Whatever people like is fine with me, but I will personally be avoiding replying using that system in favour or either Stardock's system or actual emails if I need to cc.

Sauromatia has made their first hostile action against the Eagle Kings, and paid dearly for it. We will, this once, assume it was the work of a single misguided officer. But should it happen again, we will darken their skies with iron and ice.

Hmm, did not receive anything from you until this morning, but no matter. I was not sure if you were being quiet in the "Gah my email doesn't work!" way or the "Bwahaha, Ghostwes will never suspect this invasion!" way. Glad to hear it was the former, and that we did not invade the same province.

It was a fine day when the group of unarmed peasants where peacefully crossing the vast plain in search for delicious swamps for His Highness Hydra_Lord when suddenly a group of elephants and their shepherds appeared on a horizon. With a great joy those simpletons, and yet cherished children of our Lord, run shouting and waving toward these great animals with open arms! Well, not much was left, just a finger here and there. Sad, sad incident ...
And yet, our dearestest flying friends did not expressed their sorrow, nor were willing to help identifying victims by their nails and hairs ... Furthermore, obviously in fear of Hydra's uncontrolled wrath they opted an aggressive tone. O, Father Hydra, you see everything and your Right head number six (earless one) will deliver justice!
It is not sure though, how the promise of darkening the sky should be interpreted. All children are looking toward a day when both earth and heaven will turn into a glorious swamp, and yet there is no agreement whether above mentioned 'darkening' is a step forward. Similarly, the obscure allusion to a 'first hostile' action is welcomed with trembling, since it implies the second one, and a fear grasped the nation - ominous prophesies of this kind tend to be self-fulfilling as everyone knows...
The Eagle Kings are having trouble penetrating the poetic miasma that hangs over the C'tisian diplomats. Is this what swamps are made of? As we lack a translator, we shall speak in our native tongue and hope to be understood. The Raven clan works hard to secure pastures for the mammoths, and they are required to work even harder securing those borders. Mammoths, you see, are prone to stampedes on a peaceful day, and when spooked by poachers or trespassers, they are liable to stampede themselves past the point of exhaustian. Their numbers are already so critically low, that we must maintain a constant vigil.
Well - just one question - Did you trample C'tisian citizens as well ????

I have been interested in this game for years off and on. I read that as many as 20 people can play online at once. How long would a game like that take?
And is there ever going to be a new version of Dominions?
There are currently no plans for a Dominions 4, but that does not mean that it will never be made.
A huge game would be possible, and they have probably been done. I cannot imagine what kind of time commitment is involved. Most likely the game would be decided by a victory points method of some sort. Even so, I would imagine it could easily take 6 months to a year. Toward the end, it would probably take 2-3 hours or more to get a turn done if you were one of the leading players in such a game.
