Hello Stardock/Ironclad
Can you guys release some more information about sins rebellion please. I don't care what it is, it can be a snippet of a pic of the arse end of a titan for all I care, but I just find it highly disappointing that some of the other games I am following (Sword of the stars 2, Witcher 2) are constantly releasing new information every 1-2 weeks, while every time I check up on this game I am hugely let down. Please don't get me wrong, don't rush the game or anything, just keeping the fans in the dark for months on end is extremely frustrating on our end, and very unprofessional on your end:P Take Ubisofts upcoming game Heroes of Might and Magic 6 for example, they have been highly involved with their community from the very first announcement of the game and have even had a 'pic-of-the-day' thread on their forums where each day they released a new pic from the upcoming game, thus giving us fans many interesting points of discussion and giving them valuable feedback on the game and its direction. I hope this is not all too much to ask, but the lack of interaction is really becoming too much to take.

Honestly, I would rather that they waited until they had something cool to show off than to have them pressured by us to give us something in development.

IDK, I wouldn't mind a little teaser, as long as more solid info was promised...so far, the impression I'm getting is that Rebellion is just going to be Trinity with bug fixes and Titans. If that's the case, I might not even bother buying it.

Some additional info would be cool but I can imagine them not wanted to give early info that might end up being false because of how development goes. If this were a beta forum it probably wouldn't matter much. It just so happens I am also eagerly awaiting SotS II which is releasing in a few months so that will help ease my hunger for more rebellion info for now.
Meh, they have been doing good so far, so I can wait. If they had a huge up and down record I might not be so nice.

Lolz. I'll probably wait till I hear from people who bought it before buying this one, but if it is genuinely more than what I've heard, it'll make my list for sure.
Yarlen: That is definitely good to hear...this is why we need infos, so we know what to expect.
I think they're doing alright. The fact that they are active is very encouraging and incredibly positive in my book. Take a look at a million other games out there that operate just like IronClad. You live under a rock or something?
This is the only game I've ever cared to join a forum for, so info was never an issue for me. If that tells you anything about how awesome I think Sins is.

This may come out as odd, but I have been reading these post for 3 years now with no replies of my own....time is due. I have to agree that a little tease would be nice or more of a backstory in bits if need be. Yarlen, I have faith in you.

I just hope Titans weakness are something like capitals to bring a new importance to them, capital seem so underused for being such a big expense.
Capitol ships have taken on a support role for fleets. They are there to keep the smaller ships alive longer, in one way or another. Although they themselves are capable of dishing out a lot of damage themselves. More than likely, titan's weakness will be capitols, the anti-structure ships like the TEC Torpedo cruiser, or the heavy cruisers. (Destra, Kodiak, Enforcer) If not one of those, they'll have a new type built in to destroy them. (I've heard word about a new capitol ship in rebellion too, but It's not really confirmed as far as I know.)
LMAO FAIL ON BOTH ST/IC AND VALVE. and lets not forget the EPIC FAIL on the long awaited release of diablo 3. but at least they release info!!!!
I dream nightly of kicking people in the teeth who use the term "Epic Fail", especially when it relates to things which aren't failures, epic or otherwise.

When I use the term, Epic Fail, I normally use it in reference to Epic Games and its destruction of its Unreal Tournament franchise by releasing a half-baked, consolized UT3 which pretty much sealed the death of the arena-style FPS genre.

There's really not a topic at the moment, Yarlen already stated info would be here in June so...wait a second...It's now July...
Well, there was that link to the dev journal, but somehow I feel like that was just something they threw at us to shut us all up...
Anyway, if there are threads somewhere that provide any info at all on rebellion, please tell me where they are, I bhaven't seen any.

Well, Last time I asked, I was told we would be given news in June as you said and still as you said, we're in July [e digicons]:'([/e]
But it's not too bad because instead of giving us news of Rebellion, the team is making an awesome patch to make a better diplomacy system ! System that I never really used because I found it quite useless before.
Now it seems like diplomacy will be worth it and much more interesting ! If they continue to release great patch for SOASE, I can wait just as long to get news about Rebellion
But it's true that Rebellion has been kept kind of secret until now, information are hard to get !
