Great - mummies are undead, but still drown in the sea. If this is not a bug, I don't know what is.
Perhaps they do not drown, but instead fall apart in the water.
Most undead are amphibious, but there are a few that are not.
I thought undead automatically means it can survive underwater.
Just checking in with everyone. There has been some concern that the game has dragged on. I know at least one player is having concerns with his ability to keep going and is considering a sub. Does everyone still wish to continue?
Yes, alas I was afraid that this would end up being the case, and I had tried to postpone it to see if my situation would lighten up anyway. As it happens, due to various life events and an otherwise busy schedule, I cannot in fairness to others involved stay on. At the moment, I've only been finding time to do a minimum of maintenance and upkeep on my turns and with war looming with Hinnom it looks like the Monkey People will need to find a new spirit to lead them.
I do apologize for the inconvenience, but the alternative would be worse as I'm afraid I would not be able to offer a satisfactory fight against Hinnom in my current situation, not to mention that I"m often now one who is dragging the game on.
That is indeed a major inconvenience. With a fully committed ally, wonderlosses' treehugging empire would already be in splinters. I suspected you chose to fatten while I bled though, and wanted to punish you for abandoning me in the war. If someone plays instead of you, the intended punishment will fall on an innocent head!

BTW, I believe I have found a sub for Lanka, bpalczewski. He is currently playing Sauromatia in the other game. I subbed for him while he was traveling. I have advised him about the current situation between your two nations.
I postponed hosting 48 hours so our new sub can have time to figure out what is going on with his new nation.
If I understood well, I am going to have a war with Himmon in a close future due to some conflict. Of course, I am willing to have this war, and of course, we are innocent. Monkey were always discriminated against, and huge, gluttony giants are no exception. We shall do what we can to eliminate evil from the surface of our planet.
The only question that remains is: when does it start ? Was there a NAP in play? How many turns remain for us to prepare?

I will be out of town next week, and I am not having any luck with finding a sub for this game. I leave on Sunday. If no one steps in, the game will need to be put on hold for a week. I should probably be able to get in the current turn and the next turn before leaving.

wonderloss - a week to wait is not that much. I would prefer it, since the game has already changed players (Tien-chi and Lanka), and it IMO destroys the feeling of continuity.
A week will be nice also for me: I am outside of a town from Thursday till Sunday ... And the war in the name of goodness with evil giants and devouring monster is about to start the very next turn, and it takes time to set up armies .....

This game never ceases to amaze me with its quirk. I have two recalled heroes as mummies, both have some strange kind of leprosy. It did not make any problems until they found themselves in a battle, and they infected one another (I thought it was the same kind of mummy-related leprosy? Compatible-like?). I did not even know undead could suffer from diseases like that - but wonderloss would probably describe not as a classical leprosy, but as a kind of undead structural integrity failure
That is kind of odd. It might even be a bug. However, from what I understand, undead do not suffer any effects of disease. No HP loss or afflictions.
My trip was delayed, i came back Monday night .. Will it be possible to postpone another 6 hours (i can do a turn only in the late afternoon/evening) ?
