I have seen this discussed here a few times, and purchased it recently. I think some others might as well. If there is enough interest, I could start a PBEM game on llamaserver. Info on llamaserver can be found here.
Newbie--5 or fewer MP games. Can be adjusted if needed if there is not enough interest.

wonderloss, I would need to postpone 12 hours this time, I hope it's not a problem. Thank you.
No problem.
I also changed the hosting period to 72 hours. I know I have been feeling the pinch lately, and I do not think I am the only one.
I need someone to take over for Tien Chi. The Hospital has me working no stop and I keep stalling on games.
I will try to find someone.
ElanaAhova has offered to sub for TC.
is everyone OK with this? is it acceptable that i inherit diplo agreements currently in place?
Yay!
I am not okay with this, because the previously created inter-player relationship will be carried over to the game. I would rather see a fresh player that has no sympathy/antipathy with the current players. For obvious reasons - we had rather peaceful relationship with Lord Xia-led Tien Chi, but I doubt that would last in this case. It would be far better if the new player formulated his/her plans and diplomatic agenda without any kind of bias.
Alright. I will continue looking for a sub.
** I herby withdraw my offer to lead Lord Xia's nation. **
May all of you have a good gaming experience.
Thank you very much, ElenaAhova, I appreciate it. I don't have anything against you as a person, and I recognize your potential antipathy towards me as a person completely legitimate, and I would also consider your nation's unconditional hostility towards me in any new, fresh game we may meet also absolutely legitimate. However, not every decision is conscious, and I still think that you as Tien Chi in this game would subconsciously play not to win, but to have revenge on me. That, in my opinion, would distort the continuity of the game - surely it would be strange if the Tien Chi Emperor would wake up one day and say: "Arrgh, I suddenly hate Hinnom, though I don't completely understand why." The departure of Lord Xia is bad for the continuity of the game enough - as was the departure of louist as Arco player, but with the game taking months to finish, it can be expected.
Speaking about LordXia's decision, is it final and unshakable? Let me ask you a direct question - is your busy work schedule the true reason of quitting, or are you unsatisfied with the game in some way instead? If it's the latter, there is no point persuading you, because there is no point playing a game you don't enjoy, but if it's the latter, I would try to find some solution that would involve you staying in the game. Would turn time extension to 72 hours help? I myself am busy these days too, and submit my turns usually in the last minute, so I would not object. Or shall we make a break for a week or so, to have a rest from it? If the players are exchanged, it won't be the same game anymore...
kama, i was gracious NOT to respond to your first veiled charge in post #608, that i was biased. Could you not have left it at that?
In your post #611 you repeated the charge, naming me directly, justifying your statement with psycho-mumbo-jumbo that is, inaccurate.
i can assure you that i would not -sub consciously, or otherwise, carry out revenge on you. Yomi would. But yomi is gone to the Elysian fields. Transferring policy to an entirely different position makes neither role playing nor geo-political sense. Its would also be foolish for the new nation, and it would dishonor lord Xia (in real life). You obviously do not know me, nor have you read my posts in many other forums. Had you done so, you would know your charge of bias (even if softened by word of thanks) were both unnecessary, and personally 'disappointing.' You have the power to say no to me. Why did you not just leave it at that? You had to repeat the charge in a second post, and justify yourself. Now you have twice impugned my character as a person. And saying 'no' required no reason on your part - it was, and is your right. But since you have, twice, made this public:
I stand by my conviction that you are a player who primarily acts from a 'might makes right' position. Vassalizing Yomi on turn 3, and dictating total terms, refusing any compromise, is sufficient proof of that. If that is bias on my part, so be it. You knocked yomi out. Good for you. You exercised your option to say 'no' to my offer to take over my friend's nation. That is both your right as a current player, and in accord with my stated wishes when i volunteered. Just saying 'no' would have been sufficient. To repeat the charge of bias in post #611 offended me personally and hurt me.
I'm not sure why you had to, twice, say i am incapable of playing Xia's nation without targeting Hinnom is beyond me. Yes, in every game, from now on, I will remember that you are primarily a 'power player.' I don't see that as a bias. However, your need to state that I am incapable of being an adult and moving on is onerous to me. You survive this world 60 years and see what it does to any desire you have for vengence, hatred, and unforgivness. One either becomes bitter, and nasty, and is consumed by negative feelings, or one learns to let go of past injustices, move on, and perhaps fight for a better, more just, and fair world. I chose the latter. Apparently you are unable to drop the past, and feel a need to justify your decision. A simple 'no' on your part would have been fine. You could have said, "I am uncomfortable with the person who played Yomi returning to the game.' (END) Then its about your feelings, etc. But when you place the onus on me, that's evasion of your personal responsibility. You made a decision, and its yours. It is not the result of personal defects that you project onto me.
I ask you to stop writing about me in the public forums. I wish this to drop. I let it go a long time ago. I let it slide when I read your post #608. However, i will not be idle, and be your door mat, even if accompanied with a few soft words. Please, kama, drop it. Just say 'no' to me (you did). Own your decision - don't push responsibility onto me. If that is insufficient for you, PM me. To all the players, good gaming!
FYI: Lord Xia and I corresponded briefly. He stated his work schedule and responsibilities were the reason he asked for a sub.
wonderloss. i just received T'ien Ch'i turn 58 for the game Elementalists in my email. maybe check with server, etc. So my not returning the new turn doesn't mess up the progress of the elementalist game.
I am going to have to postpone. When we get a sub, I will make sure they get the turn.
Edited to add that I had already changed the time limit to 72 hours, and that will be the normal schedule once we get things organized with TC.
I found another potential sub on the Shrapnel boards. He is in the newbie game that I was in, VanillaStrawberry, where he is playing Ulm. It is an EA game that Tien Chi looks like it has a good chance of winning, actually. After seeing such an awesome performance, he thought he would like to try his luck over in our game. I asked him to join the forums here. Hopefully he will post an introduction. Feel free to speak up, if anyone has a problem with this potential sub.
Hey hey. As wonderloss said, we were in another game together; although we had an amicable relationship due to common enemies, don't worry, I will more than happily stab him in the back if it is necessary for the greater glory of Tien Chi.
dojango - Hello and welcome to our game. Thank you for the time you will hopefully dedicate to the game, allowing us to go on and possibly finish the game one day. I can say that all of the players are quite tired already (I know I am).
ElenaAhova - okay, no more words about you.
I am going to postpone the turn six hours. This will give me enough time to get it done after work tomorrow. On top of some personal chaos, my hard drive failed over the weekend, and I am way behind on things. On the bright side, I think my schedule should be freed up a bit now, making this sort of thing less likely in the future.
... and your "army of gold" spell really shines, I must admit that! I have lost four battles before I fully realized what's going on. Take care, though, impoverished inhabitants of your wilderness may start stealing your shiny soldiers
It is the must-have spell for hordes of otherwise useless freespawn chaff, especially when your opponent likes to throw around fire spells.
Please can we postpone at least 6 hours? I had an unexpected emergency today and I came too late, I won't be able to send in my turn. I apologize to everyone.
Postponed 12 hours.

Good thing I did not trust you, and set my alarm clock early, eh? Now I have just 46 minutes to make my move, and will have to make it through a working day with only 3.5 hours of sleep. Nevermind then - but something tells me you would not have done this to yourself.
