2v2 rook da mirror ppaparin vs paczen (pro)
http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&show=details&id=222652
those dg commentary videos were awesome.. one of u guys should start making a couple of vids
Darkliath should, indeed. Yesterday Pacov (Erb) / me (Sed) / Darkliath (Rook) got the worst schooling in my DG life from the, eh, all-star team of SaV (Rook) / cficare (Oak) / TSK-Glagol (UB). The thing is, we started out really strong: by WR III, we were +500 WR (!) up, plus several early kills and yellows. I got a mighty impressive Cloak warp kill on SaV, too. Very demoralizing.
I suppose the problem was two-fold: Pacov was playing a way too ballsy Erb (it stemmed both from underestimating the enemy -- not that I did not -- and from knowing I will come to save him the last moment); we couldn't time the simple Silence->Mass Charm sequence correctly for the life of us. But I think I'm really interested in some comments from an objective viewer: when and where did it all go wrong.
that was the one thing that sticks out. We pretty much have guaranteed kills around ws10 with how they were playing if we chained our stuns better... we had EXACTLY 1 time where we got it right. Then like 6-8 complete whiffs. I was certainly a bit sloppy. Took a game to get me feeling hyper-competative again. Was happy that I had a few challenging games for a change. It's been a bit. Anyway, happy to say I was on fire the next game (which we lost too heh).
edit
2v2 rook da mirror ppaparin vs paczen
this game shows how important hp flag is that leads to higher warrank, xp, first blood. also i think this is the highest rook vs rook battle i've witnessed so far in a 2v2. Pretty much the rook tried to give an advantate to the da on its team, while the da's had to make the decision when to gank. Also since both went hw the da's were mostly fighting for xp flag.
at the end of the game one player lost the nerve and it goes downhill from there (i still put it up cause all game long it's high lvl play, and it's hard to get "pro games" these days . However another replay to show how good the koreans are, and pacov finally got to witness it
it's all about hp flag and map control at the highest lvl
fix the lag and this game might get just as popular as SC2
Nice game, looked like it could've gone either way until Rin went off at level 15 with a few quick kills
yeah - i started getting frustrated after a bit and got pissy and made some mistakes. huge lag in pro games makes me want to cry.
also for me the highest lvl of gameplay in demigod becomes a giant chess game, with the only difference you can bluff and risk everything to win or lose. (maybe in chess too, not sure)
One my good friend from GameRanger (he played here too, you could know him as "Eltimes"), said same once - Demigod like a chess game. I'm sure it is the way how DG 2 can take a place in the market - more logic and strategic decisions than in other Moba-games, so its could be nice to watch (streaming becomes a powerful tool of involving players).
Sounds like "The Abyss has absorbed him"
bump, for people who want to look at replays, and a must watch for everyone on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/user/potheli#p/u/6/TY7rjclicnY
i was totally expecting renz`s new spit tactic!
