It is a LOT of fun. The humor is just right, not subtle and not in-your-face please-laugh-at-this-joke.
It is extremely frustrating (in a good way) to get your spell elements in the wrong sequence, or fire them with the wrong button, to see something completely different happen than what you intended. And that's the beauty of it.
I think my favourite spell is the one where I summon a stone around me, like a personal shield (shield+earth+selfcast). It allows me some precious time to sequence and boost my next spell, without getting interrupted (the rock shield takes a ton of damage). The only downside is it overwrites a personal (shield+self-cast) which is your basic defense. The rock shield, and then you load up on a ring of mini-volcanoes around you (fire+earth+defense+AOEcast) = win.
At 10$ or 10€ this is a bargain, a must-have. They could price it at 25 and I'd still recommend it.
Myself and a few buddies played this GEM of a game till late in the night the other day. I can't remember the last time we all had a laughing-fit in another game we were playing together......truly amazing!
I was told in no uncertain terms that I am " too dangerous to stand next to " and that maybe I should " go hang out over there somewhere " hehe
Seriously, as has been pointed out above.......for 10 bucks? What the hell does one get for ten bucks these days? An entire evening of unbridled mirth I tell ya!

Oh and since the game was seriously buggy (for many people) upon release the devs have already patched it 3 times and it was only released on the 25th. If they keep this patch-pacing up we might be into patch 10 by next week. No matter, I'd rather have hyper-active devs than one's like those controlled by EA or UBI who aren't even allowed to post in response to community.
To be fair, the amount of work that wasn't done to support multiplayer by release (no lobby passwords? C'mon, guys) wouldn't fit in a bag of holding. Some of the code (or lack of it) shows these guys are kind of new to this.
That said, they patching as if hasted and putting in what needs to be there, so go buy. At worst wait a week so multiplayer is finally ironed out, so you can enjoy the campaign fresh from MP.
