TEC Javelis lrms.
Thats right. Most seem to just utter things without hard numbers or testing.
A simple test will reveal that TEC now have the strongest lrms. Even upgraded to max (yes even with vassari fully upgrade phase missle, and advent mirror upgrade to lums) TEC lrms still wins.
Test parameters were 20 assilants or lums against 30 Javs. 120 supply cost for all. If you go with pure cost the ratio is roughly the same
Surprised how everyone thinks assailants are the strongest lrms when in fact they are the worst lrms.
so TEC have their LRMs,
vasari have their Skirantra
advent have....well whatever they have
ive always thought LRM was best of its class
i do have a question JJ, in ur LRM vs Assailant test did you use cluster munitions or charged missiles at all ?
cluster warheads or munitions (whatever its called) makes the LRM great against large numbers of units
My guess is you need about 50 for the price to be worth it.
I tested un-upgraded lrms and fully upgraded lrms (all shield, hp, armor, special abilities, etc)
I think then maybe this is why the LRM is better than people think:
More people using assailants have atleast one if not more than one tier of phase missile research where as LRM users dont get the missile upgrade for TEC as often.
Not very many people get cluster munitions also, it is a very underrated ability
I think i see more assailant users getting charged missiles than i do LRM users getting cluster munitions
So you have alot of unupgraded LRM vs upgraded assailants, factor in 2-3 OP skirantra and the assailant seems as tho it is some unstoppable killing machine
