Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!
Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom
I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).
So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.
For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome!

Pretty sure there are dental services that will give you an exam for free............though you should get on that job thing.
I personally have nothing against cars. I have something against stupid people who drive cars, but I also have something against stupid people in general, so meh.
'Course, you're far more likely to get run over by, say, a drunk driver, than a city transit bus loaded with doctors talking on cell phones.......which I'm not really sure what that last bit has to do with the getting run over part, as the doctors sure as hell won't be driving the bus.
EDIT:
/is listening to Selena Gomez singles.
Because GW was too lazy to create an original themed Imperial Guard army, they basically used RL armies as a base for them, gave them a little touch of Grimdark, assorted amounts of tempered ceramite balls and placed them..........IIIIIINNN SPAAAACE!
This is, at least partially, incorrect.
Catachans are US Marines IIINNN SPAAAACE FUCK YEAH!
Which, by virtue of being Russian, makes them AWESOME.
The Irish-ness automatically makes the Tanith 1st&Only PURE AWESOMETASTIC WINSAUCE.
From my tour in the Praetorian Guard, 41st Millenium.
The sheer win of the picture is indescribable.
I hate people, doctors more than most. I also hate cars(The combustion engine in general actually), and phones. A bus is a huge engine, carries lots of people, and has no rule against cell phones, so Irony dictates that is how I will die. Though the likelihood of a bus full of doctors is nill...maybe I'll be run over by a line of doctors in their sports cars...

What happened that caused you to have a general hatred of people, and in specific doctors?
Why do you hate combustion engines? They're quite useful devices. The same goes for phones.
The driver can't yak on the phone while he/she drives. Bus drivers are pretty much expected to be able to put up with passenger chatter/-origin distractions, so it's unlikely that a bunch of people yakking on the phone would actually cause a bus accident.
Further, "Irony" is not some all-powerful force. It's a form of humor.
The phones don't have anything to do with the actual accident...do you know what Irony is? They just have to be being used at the time.
Engines promote promotion, strict time constraints, and laziness. Just try to deny that...
People will always do what is best for themselves first, if it screws someone over, so be it. I don't like that. Doctors charge MUCH more than they should ever be able to get away with for just looking at you, thinking, and writing a drug name on a piece of paper.
Answered your questions backwards.
An engine is a tool like any other. What people do with isn't related to what it's original purpose was. Steam engines were originally designed to make transatlantic voyages much safer, faster, and more reliable. In the same vein, automobile combustion engines were intended to make longer-distance and/or faster travel easy for the average citizen to undertake.
TBH, I have no idea what your reasoning is. Please explain. I'm curious about it.
I know perfectly well what irony is. It's a form of humor, and also used as a literary device.
The average person, yes. But not all people. OTOH, I do agree that on average, doctors charge a lot more than what they should for the minor things they do.........but that's what insurance is for. To cover said costs.
I won't even start on my beliefs on insurance, and similar services...
lolz, I re-read my last post, promotes promotion is supposed to be promotes pollution, my bad. Anyway:
The combustion engine puts out more polution than I am okay with. (Admitedly, most of what pisses me off is when people do not take care of their machines and let them fall into massive disrepaire, causing even more polution than is normal.)
With the combustion engine(Or any sort of motor, I guess) people are able to traverse great distances in a short amount of time. Yes, this is useful, but since it is possible, people are expected to do so. Everybody wants everything to be done their way and when they want it, and are not willing to actually live life. I admit, cars are sueful if they are used right. But every time somebody wants to go somewhere, no matter the distance, they always go for the car first because it is more convenient and would rather be doing other things. Without cars, people would walk more(Less fat people) and grow their own food to some extent. I have no problem with using some sort of vehicle when it is required, but the number of cars I see every day is absolutely ridiculous.
On a side note, if you have a car, people automatically seem to assume that you will give them rides to places or help them pick up/drop off things (Depending on the type of vehicle) and I don't like that sort of thinking. I like helping people, but not when they simply assume I'll do it without asking.
Back on topic(I got off the time thing there and rambled into laziness, though the two are partially related.) people want to move around too quickly and don't take the time to enjoy their life. It's like when it's time to get up and go somewhere, they comparmentalize that time as wasted, because they could be doing something else. They don't seem to realize that time is part of their life too. I personally walk or ride a bicycle around town, and find that is the best time I have to think about whatever I want, and I can enjoy what is around me, stop and look at whatever.
That's the basics anyway. Please read the whole thing before critisizing. I ramble a lot and sometimes the information gets scattered.
Well, I'm afraid you've got to play the system Storm. You can't expect change overnight, and you can't just say that things should change. Look at what you and those close to you can do to help with these problems.
Sorry for the vidspam, but they are awesome regardless.
I'm not sure about the validity of the first point.
But the second one is bullshit. And I'll tell you why.
Even since the Middle Ages, back when there were no cars or combustion engines (or engines of any kind, for that matter), people still bought food at a market, that other people had grown.
It's like that for the simple reason that, as population increases and we shift from an agrarian to a more metropolitan society/civilization, there's simply not enough space for everyone to grow the food that they need. Doubly so if it includes meat-animals. If you live in a city, or even a town, then chances are, you get your food from somewhere else.....probably somewhere at least a few hundred miles from where you live.
And there has to be some way that the food you need can get there in a convenient amount of time.
Cue the internal combustion engine.
I loved the 'Guard Video, and the bit of "The 145th" that I watched was pretty sweet.
Speak! Speak damnit! Speak!
Woof!
Lol.
So, you know a good way to break the ice?
Polar bear.
Huh...I wonder where everyone went...(Everyone = Oatesy and Whiskey in this thread since nobody posts here anymore...)
Oatesy...I think this place may finally be dead...wait ... I have an idea...
I have been guarding explosives for the past week! Top that if you can!!!
(Explosives = Fireworks...)

GAME OVER! CONTINUE? 9
Wait...that's what mine's gonna say...
Good to see somebody bothered replacing the whiny emo kid while I was busy....
Somehow I always catch this place on the brink of death. Maybe it's destiny that I share my life's events with total strangers half the world away...
Anyway, I guess I'll start off by asking where IFear, morph.... (my cat is puking on the floor behind me.... ) and SD went.
Xer0 \^/
They left.
Jolly good, then. So, everyone who's left in here either is dedicated to SoaSE, has nthin better to do or hasn't discovered facebook yet.
Eh, I'm not complaining.
And yes I still haunt these poor dead forums.
"Is dedicated to SoaSE" fits you rather well, given I presume your extravagant DS mod is still in comission.
I'm only back because this is the only place I know where I can find other lonely, bored ppl to talk to.
Yes though it is not mine alone.
Bored? yes. Lonely? Nope, going to be getting offline soon to snuggle with my wife and watch movies.
Night.
I was going to ask about that earlier... "What's a guy like you doing on the computer talking to some nerdy emo kid when you have a wife and it's.... like midnight where you live" but once again, you beat me to the punch.
Have fun with the wife.
