Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!
Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom
I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).
So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.
For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome!

1-3 Thats good enough for me, the rule was rejected, and I am glad

Victory is not Life! Life is Victory! That we live on, defying an uncaring universe, THAT is Victory!
My only regret is that this avatar sponsers Windows Vista (damn Ye !!!)
Shame on you!
You could just as easily say "my only happiness is that this avatar sponsors Windows 7".
Because to me, I'd say 'it sponsors W7, not Vista you twat!"
Shame on who?
Shame on IFear for having an avatar that sponsors Win 7
What's wrong with 7? Or Vista, for that matter. I had more problems with XP than either one...

It is an avatar for Halo 2 Vista. Because I like to mod some of my games, I have to use some programs to edit things, some of which try to save in a designated location that is locked on Vista for whatever reason. It is a common, frustrating occurance for me to fix.
I don't have windows 7.
Ah, I see now and am enlightened.
I too enjoy modding my games; though I have no Halo stuff.
I was obviously joking about Win 7, but:
1. Windows XP are far more reliable and "lighter" than Windows Vista.
2. Just because you had more problems with XP, doesnt mean that it is a bad OS. Just means that you were unlucky with it, or you just did something wrong.
3. Win 7 = the best Windows so far. Thats why I am calling them "Win 7", duh They are WIN
4. Every computer nerd knows that Windows Vista = FAIL. Big time. Which is why Microsoft were so quick to announce a new operating system (7), shortly* after Vista came out. *(shortly; comparing to other OS releases by microsoft)
5. Right now, its either Win 7 or XP. Nobody is dumb enough to choose Vista, unless they have dont really have a choice (well, if you already own Windows Vista, or your PC came with Vista, then you might not want to give money for Win 7).
6. Why ever choose such an old OS like Win XP? Well, if you have a relatively old computer, and you want to be able to play some games without losing too much of its already low speed, you gotta go for a "light" OS, like XP. Or you just have a FAIL netbook
OMG
Not even the first Halo?!?!?
The first Halo was the best.
2 was too rushed.
I thought 3 was almost as good as the first one. It rounded off the series very well.
ODST was too short but still very fun.
Reach was, in my opinion, very good as well.
Hmm... In order of awesome, I'd put it: Halo, Halo Reach (it wins now because of the updates to its multiplayer), Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 2.
I've never played Halo 2 and ODST, but:
The first Halo is my favorite, cause you know, it was the first, and it started it all. I fell in love with it immediately.
Halo Reach scores second place, cause its multiplayer is the best, and the campaign is really good too.
Halo 3 has all the right ingredients, but for some reason it isnt better than the others (the ones I've played).
Wow-oh-oh, hold on a sec Thats pretty much the same as Snipe's preferences on Halo, except that I havent played #2 and ODST. Thats a kinda weird coincidence.
Hmm, anyway, I agree with Snipe then
Don't bother picking up Halo 2. The plot's just filler.
ODST, I'd say, is worth a try if you can find it cheap, or can borrow it from a friend, which you probably can.
To be fair, I liked Halo 1 because its premise is simple (human goodies get stuck on an alien world with lots of alien baddies) but then, as you get used to the universe you're in (ie the backstory and Cortana telling you about Forerunners and the Covenant) it expands to introduce the Flood, and the sociopathic awesomeness that is Guilty Spark.
And then you escape from a spaceship and a world that is about to explode. That is always a great way to end a game, even if it does seem inspired by Metroid.
Hmm, I was under the impression that Halo 2 was really good I guess I was wrong.
Heh, I'll try to borrow it from a friend of mine (who told me that it isnt as good as Reach).
Yep. Cant go wrong with Halo 1
I installed it on my computer recently, to play it for, oh I dont know, maybe the 9th-10th time, and even though I kinda threw up at the graphics quality (I have played too much of Crysis), I was amazed at how even the best modern games cant reach the level of its awesomeness. From the plot and the music, to its amazing levels and ending.
Just the fact that you can pick that 8 year old FPS game, and enjoy playing it, means a lot. Reminds me of the good times when I bought that game.....
Halo 1 was the best, I agree.
Halo 2 was actually really good too.
Halo 3 was way too short, but the redesign of it graphics and physics engine made up for it.
ODST was very good concidering it was an offshoot.
Reach = FAIL. The storyline sucked in campaign, although I do prefer the multiplayer in reach than any of the others.
-Twilight Storm
I really don't care for Halo, but that's because I prefer take&hold-style skirmish play in my FPSes.
Though Quake/Unreal Tournament-style 'kill em all' deathmatch is also very enjoyable.
I know that the storyline in Reach is nearly non-existent, but even so, I think that the campaign is very interesting and challenging to say the least
That + its amazing multiplayer features make it one of the best Halos yet, IMHO
For example.....?
The Battlefield series.
