Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!
Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom
I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).
So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.
For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome!

Been there, done that.
Haahahaha Haahahhahaha Yeah right. You wouldn't have a little old video of that now,,,, would you?
The car took flight. Wonder if he was going mach speed.... hehe Damn, that's alot of Redbull....
No video, sorry. Didn't want my dad catching me do that then.
Indeed. Now we know why.
There are birds building a nest right outside my window. Robins
Fresh eggs for breakfast.
ha ha very funny. I'll have some pics tomorrow. They're sleeping now. Big birds really. They've also checked me out already. I guess I'm OK, cause they're moving in.
I wasn't kidding.
Actually, the cat's around here have me worried about them.... I'm thinking of wrapping the bottom of the tree trunk with very unpleasant screen material.
Why not let nature take its course? If the birds are good parents they will keep the cat away and ensure that their offspring knows how to take care of their offspring. If the birds are bad parents then the gene pool needs to be kept clean of bad parenting.
ugh I hear you. Really that makes sense.... But, who sang "With a little help from my friends."..?
There aren't any eggs yet. They're building. Neat.
Originally? IDK But I do know that the Beatles (maybe they are the originers of it IDK) and many others have covered it.
Robins are very picky about where they build nests. If they sensed danger they wouldn't have built it where they did. If they sense danger after it's built but before they lay eggs, they'll abandon it, if eggs are already there, they will defend it. Good news is, it only takes a few weeks from time of egg laying to the babies flying if I recall correctly.
Interesting.
Indeed.
That would be great for me. Whew Hope all goes well.
So, scrambled eggs at your house in a few days?
Hope you like Tim Horton's coffee.... blue eggs, not on the menu.
Here are some pics of the Robin and the nest. Kinda hard to see but they're in the centre of the pic.
Nice. Yeah they are kinda hard to see but I just put my glasses on.
Yeah, the birds have moved. Since we installed a new doorway, well, guess it was to busy. I'm so dissapointed. Maybe another pair will take their place. maybe
Doubtful as birds are particular about where they build their nests.
Seems like alot of traffic arond here. I would say that's lucky. Spring is in the air.
I still hope someone will pick an easy move in. lol
Maybe true.
On a brighter side... I planted a flower bed. They're 1/4' in height yet. But wait till they're in bloom.
One word. Pics. And they're not going anywhere.. mwahahahaha
Poor plants. Ever imprisoned by us cruel and evil masters with no hope of escape while we demand that they entertain us or feed us. I cry over my steak over the cruel abuse that us humans have heaped on vegatation. At least an animal can either flee or fight
