On the "Your settlement has grown a level" popup, I cannot tell what that city produces, nor can I tell what I chose to specialize in on the last level up.
To Remedy:
1) Allow the user to see what that city currently produces ie 5 Materials per turn, 1.8 Gold per turn etc
So that I can determine what exactly I want to specialize this city in
2) Show me what I chose during the previous level ups. So I can tell if I want to further specialize this city into one resource or generalize the bonuses into different areas.
Reasoning:
If the user has 30 cities he/she cannot be expected to remember this information to best determine how to level up a city.
** Does this bonus actually accumulate with each level up or does it replace altogether the previous bonus I selected. I currently have no way of knowing this as a user.
i would also like that - way to little information on that -though sometimes your lucky nd you can look below the screen and see the city info and it shows /tech /arcane /gil income.
I'll second this idea, we should get both 1 and 2 in order to decide, or be able to at least level up the city at a later time, like a plus button somewhere next to it and a reminder at end turn.
Third'd. Also can a few more options be added? Such as a boost to materials or food production?
i would like more options too - so you could really specialise your citythings that come to mind are MaterialsMetalMana (need a shard in city)Trade (amplifies the trade routes that hit this town - to make a trade hub!)Unit Production (a city that experts on building units)Defence bonus (increased defensive structures gives bonus to defence)Food bonus (this one i would say would be very powerfull)and all these things should get unlocked by researching technologies allowing for better customization of cities as you progress
Love this idea, hope that stardock stick this up on wall somewhere to put in the game once they get a chance.
I would also like the ability to select my city upgrade option on a later turn. in other words, a way to dismiss that message and then come back to it later.
Ya It's really annoying as is because I don't remember what all my cities specialize in and I can't look around.....
