So, been playing now for 4-5 months and just wanting to say thank you Iron Clad/Stardock for a pretty awesome game. Must have been a risk with a small team and little budget to try something so completely different to a lot of what is out there.I looked around on the net for a good space colonization strat game and the only stuff that came close was ancient. Sins combines gorgeous graphics with great strategy and an absolutely incredible user interface that makes what would be a very complex game into something that is easier to handle than telling a group of Command + Conquer tanks to cross a bridge in formation without COMPLETELY SCREWING UP.So, I will await the next patch with just as much enthusiasm as others here. Not because I think sins is broken but because I would love to see this game get even better. So thanks guys, gg.

Thank you for not bashing the game because it is not absolutely perfect. This game has had a lot of support and while it has toned down a little, the fact that this game still has a following speaks volumes about its quality.
I would also like to say thank you for a great game. The game seemed a little simplistic to me when I got it at first but when I got into it I saw how deep and addicting it is. I would especially commend Ironclad on how amazing the UI is. Everything is at your fingertips. Everything has a tooltip that explains exactly what you need to know. The game doesn't make you click on something unless you absolutely need to. They use things like colors to convey certain information on the UI. Every time I play the game the UI simply amazes me so I would like the congratulate the designer. "Elemental: War of Magic" and many other games can certainly learn from the UI designer of this game.
One tiny improvement to the UI may be is to be able set a rally point by right-clicking on a planet when one of your planets is selected. Right now, it's just one unnecessary click to set the rally point.
tbh, sometimes the game just gets boring for me. its not like theres some part of it thats bad, but its just repetitive and takes a long time. other times, it's fun.
I'm thankful too (obviously). I took a HUGE gamble on Sins and purchased the original for the full $40 without knowing much about it other than having read some reviews and receiving recommendations from friends (that I should pirate it, but I'm not a pirate). I've more than received my money's worth from it and Sins has earned a place in my top 5 favorite games right next to Unreal Tournament, Empire Deluxe, Alpha Centauri, and Baldur's Gate II.
