I'm a regular deviantart visitor and I'm realy surprised by the quantity of nice visual styles for Win7 posted there. Sometimes they can even be more then 4 visual styles for Win7 posted in one single day while the windowblinds skins are getting a little bit rare. I know it takes much more time to create a windowblinds skin but I keep asking myself if the windowblinds skins are going to be left out after some time.
What do you guys think?

that one is currently shelved at the moment.....ive noticed that everytime i put up a wip i seem to jinx myself and then dont complete the project....so wip is out for me from now on! i still want to do sugiyowi.......but hermes has my heart atm.....

I guess we all figured out why the deviantArt visual styles in Win7 are dominating....it's because the visual styles rippers there are robbing our masters and journeyman of images and putting together Frankenstein skins with bits and pieces, because they lack any imagination and originality when it comes to images.Of COURSE it's easier and quicker to create a skin with parts that somebody else has already dreamed up! I'm wondering how long I'll be able to stomach what's going on over there (dA). It's bad enough there's a bazillion pictures of Miley Cyrus in galleries that have absolutely nothing to do with that type of thing, annoyingly disorganized, etc. (take a look at the IconPackager section if you need an example of what I'm bitching about), but now to see the rampant ripping, cut-and-paste themes that are allowed to remain, are just taking the cake.
It has gotten that way, hasn't it? I go there once in a while to check for stuff that no longer gets uploaded here (skinners who have moved on, etc), but mostly my visits to DA these days are from following links posted here at WC.
Apart from the rips and other distasteful things going on over there, I'm not overly fond of the new format... the fact there's now 4 or 5 different WB galleries in different sections and it takes longer to browse. Shoot, some of the galleries are empty, so when you're not a frequent visitor and forget which ones contain skins, you're wasting time just navigating to what you want to view.. So much for the new format making it easier.
That section is an absolute disgrace these days.... about half a dozen real IP sets in recent times, and the rest is just cut up photos. Woeful!
That's the worst part of all! My visits there will decrease significantly... to maybe a once in a blue moon thing just to collect works from artists who no longer upload here.
