So were supposed to atleast get one patch in septmeber that fixes magic and character creation.
But I say screw that, cant you all fix the end game slow down first and get a patch out ASAP, would rather have bugs squashed then content balanced

Working on the patch as we speak...the items holding us back...
- some of the memory fixes, alt-tab fixes have created timing issues with the portrait generator (random custom units having a black box for a portrait)- shards randomly appearing on reload and on campaign maps- got a saved game where 8 battles happen in a row, causing the popupmanager to get messed up...(not a showstopped, but something we'd liek to fix while the bug is reproducable)

One of the big issues for me is the AI building illegally - ignoring food/gold when building cities/units. Does that have to wait until Brad returns?

You're right. I guess making the game fun is pretty trivial. At least Civ 5 comes out soon

1)the game has problems. Many. We all know that by now and is quite useless to keep up talking so...
2)Don't you think it would be better to solve the more pressing issues? Adding more content would just add more problems atm, let the dev fix stability and more of the glaring issue...

Well, I picked it up on Amazon since it was already down to 45 bucks there, although my better sense told me to wait until it was 20 bucks based on the issues I have read about. Trying to wait for 1.07 to come out before I try playing it though, as I figure that should increase the enjoyment quite a bit, I hope. Come on 1.07.
