They have some killer sales going on tonight, looks like I am going to be buying a few games and taking advantage of this. I think this may be the biggest sale I seen in a long time on Impulse. They usually don't put near as many games up for sale as what is up there now. Steam and Gamers Gate may have to step aside on this , for one I have never seen MH2 at $20 since its release.
Disciples III are at about half price
Dragon Age bundle and Gratious Space Battles at reduced prices too
MH2= Making History 2?
I am half-tempted to get the Tropico 3 expansion. Holding off thinking that EWOM + Civ5 soon will mean not much play time for it.
Yeah MH2 I am referring to Making History 2. I loved the first one and thought the demo for MH2 was right on so I am most likely going to pick that one up before it goes off sale asap. For $20, that can't be beat for a game like that, had a buggy start but from what I read is patched up nice now since the developers are really dedicated to it as they were with the first game.
Guess I will grab the demo for it and check it out. The reason I haven't looked at it before is that I immediately see EU / HOI and think buggy paradox game.
I bought THQ Ultimate bundle. Very cheap and it has SupCom Forged Alliance that I was gonna get anyways
I'd be careful about MH2, but let us know. I played the demo, and my gold version with the editor honestly seems better.
Disciples for $20 is tempting, though.
MH2 is not paradox, or are you saying that it looks like a paradox game? Because I really don't think it does.
It did have severe issues at launch though, I was popping in and out of the forums there, but decided to pass on it until it was ready. Let me know what you think CapShip, if you pick it up.
I did get MH2 back at launch. It is now relatively bug free and stable with decent polish, but the Devs still have a lot of plans for it, so the entire question is, do you want to be along for the ride or skip straight to the destination? Either should be fun.
Yeah, I've got enough working games to not want the frustration of dealing with 'works in progress' right now. I'm watching MH2 though.
I prefer to play minors anyway, but it sounds like most minors are really non playable economy wise in MH2 at this point, so I'll probably just keep on watching it for the time being.
Not sure you should expect that to change. Very few of the minor countries would realistically be able to match up with one of the great nations in the timespan in question.
On another note, The Sims 3 is priced very sympathetically. (I know, it's a guilty pleasure of mine). It's NA only, unfortunately, but buying the entire series on Impulse costs roughly the same as buying one of the expansions on EA Store.
Did I mention I really detest EA store? No? Well, I do.
