I like the unique look of the 'magical' font that appears on the cover of the instruction book as well as the splash screen for the game. It even has separate glyphs for the four elements which is a nice touch. It reminds me of seeing the runes in Ultima IV for the first time and realizing that they could actually be read.
Does anyone have the complete font set as a .ttf file or something similar? I'm designing some art for an Elemental mod and want to incorporate the font in some way. It was used nicely on some early online trailers for the game, so I could just create a new set from scratch if I had to. But it would save a lot of time if someone already had an image of the Elemental alphabet (hint hint Stardock graphic designers!)
OK, I've got all the Elemental font letters with the exception of J, Q, X and Z. If anyone knows where they can be found please let me know. I'll be using FontCreator to make a .ttf set for anyone who wants it. Ya never know....
I'd like the font when you get it finished! It would be sweet to switch my Visual Studio to use it so my co-workers could be awed by my mad coding skillz.
I quickly put this together in FontCreator to show how the Elemental Font can be used for transition screens or as a background to avatars. The font came together pretty well, so I'm happy with it. I never found a good copy of the official "Q" or "Z", so came up with something close. The .ttf file is available to anyone who wants it. Thanks to all the modders who are busy working on their own creations. I can't wait to try them out!
