Not posting to bash or trash the game. Just dispointed with the state its in and not interested in playing if that is supposed to be a finished game.
So where do I go for the refund that is supposedly available? I bought the game online via Impulse if that makes any difference.
Thanks.
Wow, wish I lived in a country where I could go down to my local retail outlet, purchase a PC game, and return it a week later for a full refund because I "didn't like it". I beat most games in under a week so this would be ideal for me. Although I have no idea how long those retailers (and game developers) could stay operational with such a business model, it would save me vast amounts of money and allow me to perpetually play video games for free! If I needed longer than a week then I could just go to a different retailer, buy the same game and return it a week later...lather, rinse, repeat.
In other news, Stardock stops selling to customers outside the U.S. due to frivolous lawsuits...
Man, is it PC game corporate greed month or something? First Sony, then Turbine, now this insane policy with a ridiculously wrong and rude customer service rep. I honestly thought Stardock was immune to the crap going on, but I guess not. Fall in line with Sony and Turbine, then, another company I won't spend a dime on in this lifetime.
Edit: Icepick, you missed the point completely. Don't be a sheep.
Im old.
That being said, this is the worst lauch of a game I have ever seen. Sure I was happy about the super responsive patching till I realized you sold me a game you was incomplete. Your product would not even pass an alpha build phase of a good development house, pretty dissapointed.
That being said, I do not want a refund, I want the game you sold me on with all the hype leading up to it. I will wait and patch and patch and patch, and when the game is running good, I will sit down an enjoy it. Further, I appreciate the project, not many games coming out these days with this playstyle, so thanks again.
Next time, just wait 30 days or so or allow your player base to test it.
Thanks

If that is the case, then contact sales with your message to that effect and work with them. Discussing legal action on a public forum is not a productive way to go about it.
